Lions are returning their kickoffs to the 30 or better.
Patriots are getting back to the 15 or 20.

Over the course of a game that's a lot of hidden yardage and can effect your offensive play calling... Getting the ball at the 15 is much different than getting it at your 35 or 40.

Agreed, but he has played a pretty decent game thus far. The thread the needle throw to Burelson on 3rd and 2 comes to mind, the dropped TD pass in the endzone was a perfect throw, he had some nice runs too.

If Gostikowski was kicking off they'd probably all be touchbacks for the Lions as Gostkowski has one of the strongest legs in the game... That's about 10-120 yards per kickoff and there have been what, 5 or so kickoffs? That's a lot of yards.

I talked about the Over in this game in my write up, but instead hoped for a low scoring 1st half and then pound the 2nd half over. I only hit the 2nd half over for 1 unit
