Im betting the farm on New England to blow out Detroit.
Am I high, crazy or is a -6.5 line for real ?

Be careful. Lions are 4-0 at home ATS, Brady hasnt practiced all week, Pats have suspect secondary and Cal Johnson is one of the best WR's in the league. I think the Pats cover, but this is a no play for me. Brady not practicing and being Questionable (which is a DOWNGRADE from the Probable which he is every week) just sketched me out enough not to play.
Good luck brother.

We have been arguing this all night...it all boils down to are you REALLY going to bet the DETROIT LIONS spotting ONLY A TOUCHDOWN against the best team in the league, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS?
sounds silly doesn't it?

Have fun losing all your money. I'll be on the Detroit Lions come gametimes whatever the spread may be. This is a play designed to sucker the public into pounding the living fuk out of 1 side where the other side will prevail. Oddsmakers are not fukkin morons dude. Do you really think they are going to just HAND YOU this game? The spread is like this for a reason. I figured it would be like New England -14 or -13... but -6.5? Public will be ALL over this, and I will be riding the opposite direction cashing my ticket saying 'told ya so'

Even though spread is higher, I think Jets are a better nbet. Like Pats, but jets at home against demoralized bengals with palmer's foot in a boot all week and against a d that rex ryan is gonna have motivated is where my cash is at.

1. The patriots are far from the best team in the league.
2. The Lions can score points, and as someone has already said they are 4-0 ATS at home.
3. The Patriots have given up almost 24 points per game and almost 290 yards passing a game.

I dont see how NE doesnt cover this, unless Brady doesnt play for some reason, which wont happen...

I'm a pats diehard and hope the pats win by 40 but the
-6.5 does seem like a suckers bet. Hope I'm wrong.
In all, I just hope it pisses DET off, so they play better D.

^ this. Jets are my biggest play Thursday.
Also, what do we know about this Brady foot injury? I know he will play, but is this injury going to affect him? Whats the deal with it?

Detroit +6.5, may even win out right.
Detroit has better pass offense and pass defense. They also allow 13% lower 3rd down conversion rate then the pats. Throw in the fact that Tom hasnt practiced and the lions being 4-0 ATS at home. I will probably take detroit ML as well. BOL on your picks.

hhahahahahaha, GUYS those of you that are saying Brady hasn't practice all week are clueless. Not being rude but this is normal for NE, BRADY DID THE SAME EXACT THING BEFORE THE PITT GAME AND HAD HIS BEST GAME OF THE YEAR, well.....until today
