    Brett Favre..One Season To Many
    One man's opinion...............

Future hall of fame quarterback Brett Favre continues to rack up records. When the Minnesota Vikings fired head coach Brad Childress on Monday, it marked the second head coach in three years to be shown the door after Favre had subpar seasons. That has to be some kind of NFL record. Two years ago, Favre's misguided passes had plenty to do with the New York Jets dismissing head coach Eric Mangini. Yes, Favre completed 65.7 percent of his 2008 pass attempts, but he got picked off a staggering 22 times. Last year, Favre took the Vikings to the brink of the Super Bowl. He had seven interceptions all year. But apparently Childress drank Favre's coolaid when he visited the flipflopping quarterback during the summer. Favre has shown his support of Childress by throwing 17 interceptions and losing 5 fumbles in the first 10 games for the 3-7 Vikings. Childress is gone and don't expect to see teams seeking Favre's services in 2011. The dude came back one season to many.

With Childress gone, he might be lights out through week 16...then he might get marketed. But his injuries are too far now. He's done.

Arrogance tarnishing his legacy. Should have been done a few years ago.

No chance. Rivers, Vick, Brady all having a good seasons because of what they've been able to do week in and week out. They've been able to carry whatever momentum/energy they've built in the previous weeks and been able to bring it to the future weeks. Favres done! Its sad that its pretty much mandatory to start this guy because of his consecutive game record and all the BS.

I agree 100%, one season to many for this old man.

I think Favre is done. Like i said before (100% agree with you) after this season i dont see any team wants
him as starter qb. a lot of injuries affect this decision for sure.

Also i have a side bet with my buddy at work. 100 bucks for losing season for VIKINGS.
          so far so good...

"Better to get rid of an aging player one year to early than one year to late." Wise old coach.

It's been said about Favre for the past 10 years. Some people have been saying this about Favre since his first year in GB.

People love to hate on Favre. He's erratic. He's a gun slinger. When it pans out, it's magic. When it fails, people cry foul.
