The Lions are much better than everyone thinks they are.. they just find ways to lose. They have had a chance to win every single one of their games so far..

We're talking about the only team to lose to Buffalo.

I was just looking at that line.. Pats are given 7 on the road??? I would of thought it would be 10-13 points.. Am I off on this line?

Probably should be more like 8 but laying that many points on the road is a tough line to get action on...

C'mon guys, seriously? This is the NFL, a TD is a lot. Go back and look at the Lions schedule - lost to the Eagles by 3, the Packers by 2 (at GB), the Giants by 8 (at NY), and the Jets by 3. They have been in almost every game.

Everybody will be on the Pats because they just beat the Colts and Steelers in back to back weeks, which is EXACTLY why you should be on the Lions. That was a huge EMOTIONAL win for them Sunday night against the Colts, now they've got a short week and they're going ON THE ROAD to Detriot to play on Thanksgiving, which I serioulsy doubt any of them are too fired up about. And guess who they play next weekend? The Jets. Thats right, their biggest division rival and the team that already beat them once this year. A lot of people are saying that the Jets and Pats are the 2 best teams in the league, so you think they aren't dying to play that game and beat their division rival and solidify their place at the top, not to mention have a leg-up for home field advantage in the playoffs.

Listen, Bellichek is an unbelievable coach, maybe the best in the league in my opinion. What he gets out of his staff is unreal. They don't have any big superstars except Brady and they just keep finding ways to win. And he will be preaching all week about not having an emotional let down this week because of the big game they just won. But sometimes you just can't help it, your just can't convince yourself to get pumped.

I will probably stay away from this game altogether, but if I had to pick I say the Lions cover.

the lions will keep this game close. the Pats are due for a let down after the big win over the colts. plus, take a look at the line movement so far. 89% of the public on the pats and the spread dropped to 6.5 from 7. However bad the lions look, they are still a professional team, which means truly anything can happen since their players are still the best of the best in the football world. Take a look at that carolina-baltimore game from last weekend. Why would anyone ever think that the panthers would have a chance to cover that 13.5 pt spread, especially after having to sign St. Pierre during the week to start at QB. But towards the end of the game, the panthers got a trash 88 yd TD, and the ravens only covered because of 2 INT's returned for touchdowns at the very end of the game. Just something to think about

I have pats -6 an I think this one is to easy. Little worried about back door cover as lions seem to always come back late, but pats are going to try and pour the points on with no mercy.

This game is easy... in fact... One the final whistle is blown it will be even easier to analyze whatever side did what...

In the meanwhile... BEFORE the game, I will say that NOTHING is easy.. and ANYTHING is possible... Definitely leaning Leos for the First Turkey day cover since turkeys were invented

pats may win 44-10... I doubt it though... perfect spot as mentioned for a let down... I think this is Revenge of the Books this week...

My bad, too easy. I think it has been the books week all year until last week. Underdogs ats have killed it this year so far and by the end of the year that number is usually closer to even. So that means lots of favorites will win in the coming weeks, just like last week.

take all 3 home teams on turkey day and put 2-1 in the bank without even blinking. short week, on the road, who the hell wants to be away from home on this day. that is all there is to it.

A team due for let down, that is the very notion why people bet against good teams that are in form and hot lately, and that is why people lose their bets. NE is not great on road, but a way better team than Lions, I think they will cover a TD, Belli will not look at this game as you guys do "Jets game next week, we are due for a let down, so we should just lose", that is wrong. Going with Pats -6.5. BOL

Big game next week is negated by having extra time for it. They won't worry about the Jets game, that isn't an issue.

The Pats want to prove on national TV that they are still dominant, after barely beating the Colts and getting lucky on one of Peyton Manning's 3 bad passes in his career. I think the Pats will ravage the Lions, who will be without Stafford and Best. 2 TD win.

Shaun Hill although playing has a shoulder injury... If he goes down, who the hell backs him up?? The total seems high, which ofcourse will probably go over, something like 34-24 final
