Cowboys -6.5!!

Whats everyones opinion on this game... I'm realllly liking the cowboys at home against detroit at -6.5. They really seem like the firing of Wade Phillups gave them a reality check. I think that plus the home field advantage and the mediocre lions = cowboys blowout. Really liking this one, thoughts?

also like the packers and falcons both -3. My book has those both at -120 though which really makes me tick... Cheers to all and to anyone that cashed in on my bears last night.. Bear Down!!

Clueless threads like this make me want to take Detroit. Typical overreaction to last game. It's probably a no play for me since I can't handicap which Dallas team will show up. Don't sleep on Detroit, though, because they aren't a doormat team anymore.

So i'm clueless because I'm new to the boards or because I didn't give paragraphs of insight while I'm at work? Ive been gambling since I was 15 with multiple years on the plus side. The truth is you can not handicap which team is going to show up in any game (unless your inside the locker rooms). You should handicap on trends and to me Detroits recent "turnaround", if you can call it that, does not lead me to believe they will keep it close on the road against a team that I believe is playing with a chip on their shoulder after last week. You can argue either side of any given point spread..but yes this is not the 0-16 detroit of old.. cheers and best of luck

Their run of being a decent team was with hill as the starter for the majority of the time. Cowboys will be flat they just won their super bowl. Lions cover, lose SU

The stuff in bold is pure tripe. 1.Everyone here has been handicapping for decades, or so they say. It's the standard newbie self promotion of a tout wannabe. 2. Trends and systems are the stuff of tout worship, it loses money. 3. You even contradict yourself saying you cannot handicap which team will show up yet you think a certain team is playing with a chip on their shoulder? So which is it? I think it's the first part about you not being able to handicap.

Oh, and the fact that you are a noob talking about the cowboys and laying heavy points on them is a red flag.
