According to ESPN's Rachel Nichols, Dolphins LT Jake Long (shoulder) "does expect to play tonight."
The 5-4 Dolphins are desperate to win Thursday's game, so it looks like they're going to risk further damage to Long's labrum. Tyler Thigpen's blindside protector will deal with Julius Pepper & Co. while playing with a harness on his shoulder.Comment -
That is going to be fascinating to watch. I really hope he doesn't do permanent damage to himself trying to be a hero here. He's so good and should be for a long time, but he could really jeopardize. Of course he wants to play but Miami had adults in the organization they should really step in and protect his future. PLaying with a torn labrum?
