The NFL has scared so many defensive players that the totals on these games are rising precipitously. They are afraid to hit QB's and receivers. They have emasculated the defense so much that totals on NFL games will start to get out of control much like the NCAA. If this trend continues I think the NFL will have a problem on its hand. So many games have gone over the total that it will only be a matter of time before the books start jacking the totals lines way up. The pendulum has swung to far to the other side of the spectrum. I think there has to be a balance between scoring and defense. I hope the NFL realizes what it is doing before it is to late.

We want more concussions!
We want more guys carried out on stretchers!
We want more broken collarbones, spines, vertebrae and of course - blood!
We want to be like the crowds who used to sit in the Colosseum in Rome cheering on the gladiators as they dissect each other!!!
And when do we want it??? NOW, not tomorrow!!
