Cowboy coaches meeting this afternoon, followed by a 4pm press conference. They will promote from within, with the likely candidate being Dave Campo, but I am personally rooting for Special Teams Coach Joe DeCamillis. He is a no-nonsense guy, who is as intense as they get.

Phillips needs to go, its not that he is a real bad coach. The problem here is he has lost the team, Noone is playing hard, with the exception of Dez Bryant, and thats why he was the only starter still in the game late last night. The defense is toast, Cut the safety BALL immmediately, for christ sakes i just a hip replacement surgery and could cover the middle better then this guy. I know Jones wants to wait the year out, and really its not an option anymore, this team has absolutely quit on Phillips and the Cowboy fans. Also could the RB's Coach hit the door with Phillips, I have never seen a teams RB's not block a free linebacker coming straight in week after week to kill your QB. Kitna will be next to hit the DL. Its not good for football when "Americas team" is a complete joke. If i were them I would tank the rest of the season get the best available defensive draft pick who will instantly make an impact and then make a run next season. Sounds easier than it will be but some new blood coaching is usually a good thing.Comment -
