When in doubt, take the underdog or under logic?

I heard this a few times from people but not sure if anyone have heard of this. But if there is a game and its a tough decision for you on the side or total, would you agree taking the underdog or under is a good idea?w

that's so stupid whoever said it, you might as well flip a coin.... seriously if you are betting on a game that your in doubt about, than you SHOULDNT be betting on it... period.
