Redchecvy has it pegged. Hoddie and Brady vs Mangini and Colt. I'd take my chances with the Pats. While I do agree this is an awful situational spot for the Pats, the coach/qb factor (and the ill-will between Bel/Man) make this a no-play for me.

15 MPH winds in Cleveland today. Factors like that always make me feel suspect about ANY bet. Still liking the Pats to cover, though. They have a very underrated running game, and with winds like this the short game to Welker will be all day. Pats D has been very underrated also.

The only reason I could see to bet on the Browns would be their run game, but McCoy is not worrying me at all. Stack the box to stop the run and let McCoy try to win.

This is my strongest lean. The public takes this home today. I have capped the Browns all year fairly accurately and am also a fan of the team outside of the numbers. Strong play on the Pats to the tune of 10 units.
