couldnt figure out how to edit title but meant Jets -4...sorry if this had been discussed but being a lions fan i have to weigh in on this...My Lions have kept games close and are coming off a win against Washington but I just think something is wrong with this line...they will find a way to lose by more than 4...Jets -4 for me...in my heart GO LIONS!!! just think we are one year away....

And I think I agree, Jets offense should bounce back inside dome after it struggles with Mreadowlands wind last week, and Ryan's defense should drive very young Lions offense nuts.

That means nothing because it is spread across like 25 years.

The best case you can make for the Lions here is they are the best ATS team in the NFL this season (6-1).

Still, they have never faced a defense like this.

How are Lions going to score? There are extremely young on offense, Stafford should get easily confused by Ryans defensive schemes and Best can't be trusted to pick up blitzers.

And to call Jets defense "solid" is understating things, they have one of the two best defenses in football along with Pittsburgh.

LT I am with you...Lions may hang early but Stafford will make mistakes and their defense will be on the field a lot this game...Jets will pound the ball and cover this spread

If the Lions are able to score on the Jets D and this turns into a shootout the Lions have a good chance at winning.

I'm having a feeling this might be a shootout the Lions offense is very very very underrated with the return of Stafford.

jets at denver -3.5 (when the public assumed denver was good) and now jets -4 at detroit when public is in love with detroit and jets got shutout. you take the jets here and if detroit wins you have something. detroit has nothing so good luck on detroit facing the jets in a terrible spot. jets -4.

If you think the Jets won't score more than 17, you haven't been paying attention. Det has no defense. Dee Mac put up 25 last week and he played so bad he got benched. Its a dome. Sanchez bounces back.

I dunno where you Detroit guys are getting so much heart from. You guys are 2-5, with wins over 2 very bad road teams. Anything can happen but you guys really shouldn't be on the same field as the jets. Maybe calm down a little.

I feel like all the Lions do is cover .. they are 6-1 ats and the only time they did not cover was at Minny where they never seem to kno how to stop AP ..

they have scored 37 44 and 32 at home but that was against the Washington, STL, and Philly (where they backdoored with 2 mins left)

Detroit hasn't had to face a D like the Jets. They may look bad on offense at times but I think Sunday against a Detroit team who hasn't shut down anyone, they will have no trouble winning this by a TD at least.

Just playing a bit of devil's advocate here, as I don't have a vested play, but the Jets did give up 14 @ Buffalo. Granted one was a garbage TD long after the game was in the books... Alls I'm sayin' is that Detroit may score a few here, and with Sanchito playing on the road (Detroit is tough at home), I'm not so sure this is a gimme for the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets.

This is totally different. Denver in someway is a little better than Detroits at least the players are better, I did not mean the record so far. Jets is a bit sluggish but people still love them much more than people love Denver.
