Colts/Texans....o/u 51 Under a lock?

Yeah whether or not they cover im not sure, but I have more faith in the Colts D when they have a purpose, and I have more faith in peyton than any other athlete in football to get the job done. So whith those reasons I think the Colts D holds Houston to a decent number and Peyton gets it done without his life vest, Dallas Clark. Im thinking its going to look like 24-17 colts but thats just me.

What no name will become a star because of Peyton tonight? Houston has the worst pass defense in the NFL! They give up a little over 300 yards a game! Over is the pick for me!

Houston's terrible pass defense, on the road, plus what little run offense the Colts have being decimated by injuries, its almost like there's no choice but for this game to go over. I don't see Mike Hart getting 30 carries.

Just because Dallas Clark is out doesn't mean the Colts will be playing with 0 tight ends. The Chiefs held the Colts to a single TD, but that's because they had a better defense.

Manning is the type of QB that makes everyone around him better. He's in the same mold as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, etc.

As long as Manning is in charge, the Colts offense is plug and play.

I like the Over for this game, Colts and Texans D are horrible, and you can expect the Texans to air it out once Colts get ahead. You guy see what Cassel did to the Texans pass D? Only thing I worry about is Kubiak and his safe playing calling.

I just have a gut feeling with the byes, These two are going to over-prepare for this "Under the Lights MNF" hoopla. Good drives with Red Zone hiccups and the like.

I would go with the OVER. Both offenses should be able to put up points against the other teams' defenses. Houston's defense is especially bad. I was also looking at the totals for Texans/Colts for the last 3 years and the one game this season. Here they are:

I guess I have way more faith in a motivated colts D. I think they will stop houston tonight. I have no clue about the spread either way. I dont like the colts without addai, collie, gonzales, and clark but I cant bet against peyton either. I just think Its under. I guess we will see.

Do the math... you would need at least 2 TD's per each quarter for 3 quarters and the final quarter only 1 TD for a total of 49. Take away the TD's and replace it with FG's and you have an even better chance of gettin the under 51. I got the under 51 just for a small bet of $100 anyhow
