The Packers are embarking on a dangerous 4-game stretch. After dealing with the Jets, they return home for a battle against the desperate Cowboys, then have difficult road games at Minnesota (seems like these teams play 5 times a year) and Atlanta. It’s apparent that the NFC North is full of flawed teams, and a 9-7 record could be good enough to win the division in a tiebreaker. So the Pack will just keep on plugging, and hope to get to 9 or 10 wins and be relatively healthy come playoff time.Green Bay has showed a curious propensity this year to lose to mediocre teams (Chicago, Washington, Miami), so maybe the Pack can step up their game against the Jets. Aaron Rodgers will be happy to know that the NYJ don’t get to the quarterback nearly as much as they did last season (they actually rank 13th this year), and New York has just the 12th-ranked defense (17th offense).Last weekend was a welcome respite for those of us suffering from Jets Fatigue Syndrome, but with the bye week in the rear view mirror we have 10 solid weeks of Rex Ryan, so we might as well take a few aspirin and get ready. That said, the Packers present as dynamic an offensive package as any of the initial six opponents New York has faced and have a quarterback generally unswayed by big attention and marquee games. The bottom line may come down to exactly how healthy Revis is. If he’s truly 100 percent combining with Cromartie on Driver and Jennings, Rodgers’ effectiveness plummets just enough to push the needle New Yorks way.

Rocky Atkinson – When it comes to being selective this guy tops them all, rarely playing a Monday night game and sometimes even passing on Sunday. He simply isn’t going to tell you to put your money down on a game unless he is sure that the NFL odds are in your favor. Jets -6.
