The Packers are embarking on a dangerous 4-game stretch. After dealing with the Jets, they return home for a battle against the desperate Cowboys, then have difficult road games at Minnesota (seems like these teams play 5 times a year) and Atlanta. It’s apparent that the NFC North is full of flawed teams, and a 9-7 record could be good enough to win the division in a tiebreaker. So the Pack will just keep on plugging, and hope to get to 9 or 10 wins and be relatively healthy come playoff time.
Green Bay has showed a curious propensity this year to lose to mediocre teams (Chicago, Washington, Miami), so maybe the Pack can step up their game against the Jets. Aaron Rodgers will be happy to know that the NYJ don’t get to the quarterback nearly as much as they did last season (they actually rank 13th this year), and New York has just the 12th-ranked defense (17th offense).
Last weekend was a welcome respite for those of us suffering from Jets Fatigue Syndrome, but with the bye week in the rear view mirror we have 10 solid weeks of Rex Ryan, so we might as well take a few aspirin and get ready. The HC of the NYJ finds himself in the catbird’s seat today. His team is 5-1 (tied for best in the league and tied with New England atop the AFC East), has had time for rest and recuperation, and gets a home game this Sunday against a bruised and battered Green Bay club that has been decimated by injuries and had to use every ounce of its emotion and energy against the Vikings this past Sunday night.
Opinion seems split on whether Mark Sanchez is the next Todd Blackledge or Norm Van Brocklin. Ryan himself at times appears torn between reining him in and letting the kid go over the top. A good guess here is that the Jets let LaDainian Tomlinson do the heavy lifting early against a beaten-down and out-sized Packer defensive line, then get exotic when Green Bay is forced to flood the box or eat first down after first down. Jets cover the number as GB experiences a huge letdown after the win over Minnesota. Jets are the NFL's second best in points allowed. Run the ball, open up the play-action, creating long drives that keep our defense rested and Rodgers off the field....Judging by various power rankings and other milieu, people are starting to believe in the Jets. That said, the Packers present as dynamic an offensive package as any of the initial six opponents New York has faced and have a quarterback generally unswayed by big attention and marquee games. The bottom line may come down to exactly how healthy Revis is. If he’s truly 100 percent combining with Cromartie on Driver and Jennings, Rodgers’ effectiveness plummets just enough to push the needle New Yorks way.
My Predicted Outcome
: Jets 24, Packers 14 [Jets -6..] Sanchez has made the right decisions at the right times to help the Jets to the league's best record entering Sunday's game against the Packers.Mark Sanchez ultimately need to improve his accuracy and take full advantage of the difference-makers at his disposal Everyone gets so caught up on stats and completion %'s and blah blah blah.LOL LOL LOL...

Rocky Atkinson – When it comes to being selective this guy tops them all, rarely playing a Monday night game and sometimes even passing on Sunday. He simply isn’t going to tell you to put your money down on a game unless he is sure that the NFL odds are in your favor. Jets -6.
Steve Merril – This guy is an NFL handicapping expert who has won tons of money for his clients. He gets his information out early as well and is selective about the number of games he goes after Patriots-5 1/2
Matt Fargo – This guy is Mr. Analysis and goes into very deep detail with each of his selections. He was the top handicapper a year ago but is ranked down here since I don’t know how he has done in years past. Obviously someone to look out for if he starts out as hot as he ended 2008. Jets -6..
Jeff Alexander – This s guy can have his ups and downs but he’s been in the top 5 of the season-ending leaderboard four out of the five years I have been paying attention to him. He’s kind of a big game expert, meaning that his top plays on the weekend are the ones you really need to go after, but I wouldn’t shy away from his 3* and 4* plays either. When this guy gets hot there is nobody in the world that can keep up with him, including myself .Jets -6.

He was the top handicapper a year ago but is ranked down#2 so far this year.Meaning that his top plays on the weekend are the ones you really need to go after...how a team will perform against the spread in Following week-of The season is an enormous trap. The fact is isolating road teams, road dogs, non-playoff teams vs. playoff teams and teams with a losing record or low margin vs. ones with a high margin from the previous Week is where the line value resides Redskins +125 on money line
