why do they wana ruin foot ball
Recently players were chared over six figures for hiting another player to hard lol one of them was a quaterback. As an american past time football has always been known as a full contact sport. Now the leauge wants to take away what seperates great player form the average player. If you ask any pro they will tell you.The player that can manage to run down the middle of the field through the huge defenders and reach the touch down is what makes a great player. a Player thats willing to chance being hit harder than they ever been in thier life just to reach the touchdown. everyone sits down monday or sunday night an admire these pros for one simple fact.we cant do what they do physicaly,or simply dont have the curage to risk getting tackeled by 300 pund grown man.Sorry guys its just so fustrating thats why my post is so scrambled.PLease post your Opionion on the matter even if your infavor for the new nfl guidelines if u are in favor post why to please.

Everyone is making a big deal about concussions, so the league was basically forced to do this by an overly PC american fanbase.

You are against guys getting fined for hitting another guy in the head with his helmet?

it's almost like " there's no crying in baseball", I think thats a soft rule and it shouldn't have been changed.

Its not the fact the league is "ruining" the game of football they just want to protect their players in which I completely agree with 100%. Yes, every Sunday/Monday I watch the football game to see some of the best athletes on the planet literally beat the living sh*t out of each other for 60 mins for the entertainment for the fans. In no means would I like to see a player get drilled helmet to helmet and see the receiver, tight end, cornerback, etc lying helpless on the floor suffering from a concussion. There are ways to hit a player CLEAN and still make us fans jump out of our seats and say "What a hit!". I'm glad the league is doing something about this and protecting their players. This is also coming from a Falcons fan who witnessed Desean Jackson get absolutely murdered by Dunta Robinson.

The point is that there is too much of a contradiction between playing football and protecting players. If you don't want to get hurt, don't play a f*cking collision sport.

Why is the league, stupidly, acting as if defenders know exactly where the impact on the receiver or QB will be? The game is much too fast for that. The only way defenders could comply is by leaving open a large window for error. By playing soft, in other words.

Every year they're adding more rules to 'protect players'. Will it ever stop?! Let's just be real about this. The time for real football is over. It was fun while it lasted. America no longer wants football. America wants soccer. The nurses treating concussed players have won.

Concussion and paralysis are serious issues. would you want to risk losing great players and risking them for never being able to play football again? the league is trying to protect them from long term and irreversible injuries.
