The problem with playing TN is that Fisher has never beaten the Chargers... TN lost 42-10 last year, at home, in the midst of an 8-2 run.

now TN is a lot better, and SD is worse but it's still very risky.

San Diego is 26th in starting field position for their offense, and 31st for defense. They are consistently turning the ball over and screwing up on special teams. Since their opponents always have a shorter field and they have a longer field, the yardage statistics are misleading.

The only thing that has me concerned about fading San Diego is that last year everyone wrote them off early and they didn't lose a game from week 7 all the way until they lost in the first round of the playoffs like usual. However they had their bye week 5 and maybe that helped them right the ship.

Eastern teams do in general, but that doesn't seem to be as big a deal with the Titans. In the last two years they've beaten Oakland, San Fran, and Seattle, and lost to San Diego and and Denver. That's 3-2 in Mountain and Pacific time zones.

The Patriots already went west and beat the Chargers. The Eagles who "play like crap on the West Coast" beat the Niners as well. I'd like to see some numbers on ATS records of teams traveling two or more time zones west in the afternoon or vice-versa for 1pm games. I think the Titans are the better team, but the distance has me leaning towards taking the points and not the moneyline, since I could see SD pulling it out with a late FG.
