You are not the reason fans are coming to see the games. Favre is. The owner gets the final say on whether or not Favre plays Sunday.
Personally I'd like to see Brett hang it up. He's the one reason I watch but judging by his post-game press conference it looks like the fun has gone out of it for him. If so, its time to go.
