    A Newbie Trying to Understand-MNF O/U
As you can tell, I'm VERY new.

I've been reading SBR frequently as of late and felt the need to post this ?

If the public is leaning 80% on the over tonight, why hasn't the line moved (much)?

I know most stay away from the percentages but 80% to the over (which was my lean for tonight, didn't want to touch a side) seems high.

Thanks in advance. Look forward to hearing your replies.

It's a good question. It feels like the under is the play when something is hit that hard with no movement.

Bizzy, just because 80% of the public is on the over doesn't neccesarily mean that more money is on the over. It just means more people are betting the over.

So, the sharps are dumping on the under? Making it the better play?

Thats what the numbers would suggest. When you see a stagnant line with 80% on one side, thats 80% of folks putting their 5-100 bucks on the game, the 20% is dropping 1000's/ play, evening out the action.

Yes, 80% that means people loves the Over in this game, it's doesn't mean $100, $80 on the Over and $20 on the Under in Vegas books, I think. But to be admit, I am not good at O/U, but the only thing that I know if Dallas win this game, they would be strong on D#, cause their offense play like sh*t. And to me, the home team with +3 or more will be a gift. As someone in this forum said home team always has some luck so I am leaning on Dallas and the Under cause they need the D#, not the OL to win this game. The time Dallas OL help them got the win is over, it's too expensive when the SB match will play here.

this line has moved though. It originally opened at 44.5, went as high as 46.5 and has now settled at 45.
