Lot of love for Browns on this board
At first glance I wanted nothing to do with Saints, not even touching them in my survivor pool. However, the more I break game down, the more I see a rout.

    - Rookie making 2nd start on road.
    - Cle 30th in league yards per pass defense vs. strong pass offense for NO
    - Saints give up 3.9 yards per rush vs. Cle soft pass offense.
    - Neither team is great in t/o ratio but NO better
    - Sharper activated.

As long as NO is motivated and focused, this is their game 2+ td's. They have played some stinkers this yr against sub-par teams and I dont think they overlook Browns this week.

im a browns fan so keep that in mind, colt mccoy looked great last week, expect him to look good today though i expect NO to send all kinds of blitzs and coverage schemes to confuse him. peyton hillis is finally given the browns a run game, smashmouth, aka grind the clock.

cleveland keeps games close, look what he did in his first start against an impossible defense. if he looks half as good as he did last week then i expect the browns to cover.

i tried to make that as factual and non biased as i could ha

If you look the away and home stats, the numbers are a lot tighter than those.

Dont have time for anymore homework right now. Are you saying Bronws better on road or Saints worse at home??? If so, I would think sample size too small and this will work itself out today.

But, Browns only running for 3.8 a carry, this is poor. Over last three games, they are actually only 3.1 ypc.

Saints win going away here imo.

i expect to see colt mccoy open up the defense then use hillis to pound then throw a little play action at them.

and 3.1 ypc over 4 downs is 12 yards, not 10

plus remember that peyton hillis is notorious for hurdling defenders, considering that the nfl decided no more head shots they have to tackle low to get hillis down... i expect a big day out of him

Browns playing well early... I'm on them +500 for the game. They've been very competitive all year and has led every team they've played the first 3 quarters. They just fold up in the 4th like a cheap suit. Hopefully they can finish strong today.

doesn't say much for the 2010 NFL if Colt McCoy can be successful this early
                          IMO

overall mediocrity compared to previous years in this league.

Yeah, Pittsburgh and Baltimore both led in those games. Ok, but the Browns have been competitive in most every game was my point.

I agree. The browns have been pretty damn good. I was surprised and shocked at the level of play when atlanta and baltimore played them.

McCoy is still only making passes <10 yards down the field. Not that hard to do. Also, Cleveland's offensive line is very underrated. Very good but not a lot of play makers.

One player... Eric Wright, single handedly lost 3 games for the Browns. This guy has gotten beaten like a mule all year. I kid you not, the Browns should have 3 more wins if not for this man.

Brees looks awful today. He should have 3 int's right now.
