Exposing the mirage of San Diego's top rated defense in certain categorys

SD defense is ranked number 1 in yds allowed per game,#1 in pass yds allowed and #6th rushing,if you watch sportcenter and all the nfl shows they talk about this top rated d and how they are stumble at there 2-4 record but if you look at the teams they have played and how they rank offensively those stats become way less impressive St louis is ranked #28th in pts per game #17th rushing and #19th passing Az #25th pts per game,#29th rushing,#30 passing, Seattle #19th pts per game,#30th rushing,#21 passing and kc #14th pts per game,#1 rushing,#27th passing. San diego has played some of the leagues worst offensive teams and they still rank #19th in pts allowed per game!

This is why I love Pats ML, SD has been beaten badly by teams far worse than New England. I'd probably take NE -2.5

im a Charger fan but look at the QB's we've faced (Cassel, Campbell, Girrard, Leinart, and Bradford) which are all average to below average qbs...i dont really see anything special about our defense that cant stop a team when the games on the line. stats are sometimes misleading.

I think that's why they will win. They know they stink and have played NO ONE. They might just step up.
