Here we go folks, the "right play" is never perfect but its all about profiting and we are profiting in every sport and every week! Hope the good karma rolls over on to the NFL which has been a disaster to cap unless you are just betting the dogs every week. So Here we GO!!!!
WEEK 7 - This is when the cream rises to the top and clearly we will know who is for real and who is a wannabe.
Pittsburgh Steelers -3
Remember when everyone bet on the Dolphins against their so called MNF showdown against the Pats when the Pats figured out 5 different ways to score the ball on the Dolphins. Well this should be a little bit easier for you, I see Henne throwing at least 3 interceptions in this one and the Steelers winning by 10. This is as easy as it gets.
Atlanta Falcons -3
What the line is dictating here is that these two teams are pretty evenly matched and Atlanta gets the field goal for having home field. What I think is the Falcons' defense is much more impressive and will overpower a turnover prone Bengals offense who has been lacking an explosion in their dual threat wide-outs and former Chicago Bears running back.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Kansas City Chiefs
Nobody really knows who either team is, however we know the Chiefs are on the rise and the Jaguars are still a bad team. The line is at 10.5 and I'm not sure if the Chiefs can score proficiently enough to cover and I'm not sure if the Jaguars team can score at all against the Chief's defense. This is a no play for me but I would lean on the Chiefs at -10.5.
Philadelphia Eagles ML
I smell upset, well not really. The Titans are undisciplined and the Eagles have two good qb's. Which team is on the rise, the Eagles, and the Titans win over the Jaguars in MNF is meaningless. Kolb should be plenty against a struggling vince young and I don't think Chris Johnson will get over a 120 rushing yards which is the key to the Titans winning consistently.
Chicago Bears -3
The Redskins are a average team and so are the Bears. This one is simple, if the Bears can protect Cutler and Cutler can throw away the ball faster, it should be an easy win. I think the Bears get it done against Shanahan because Mike Martz knows the city will riot, next time Cutler gets sacked and they don't run it. The skins are ranked 29th in everything, like I said numbers don't lie, expect Chicago to improve it's run this week.
New Orleans Saints -13.5
The Drew Brees show has just started and we know it's not going to stop anytime soon. We're really not sure who's good and who's bad in this messed up NFC but we do know that the unofficial season opener was Week 6.
Baltimore Ravens -14.5
Who are we kidding, do you think the Bills are going to score in this game? Remember how the Ravens had their way with the Broncos, the Ravens are looking better every week and will bounce back from that stupid loss to an actual good team "patriots."
San Francisco 49ers -2.5
This is similar to the Carolina Panthers Chicago Bears game. The Panthers are a college football team at best, and they won't win this year unless it's a fluke. Expect Gore to have another career day as this is a must win for the talented 49ers and Singletary's job.
St. Louis Rams ML
I smell upset #2. The Rams look really good this year, running, passing and defense. Bradford doesn't make stupid throws, Stephen Jackson will always be Stephen Jackson when he's healthy and their defense has started to mend a lot of its holes from all the first round picks during the draft. That being said this will be a close one as Tampa Bay is in the same class as the Rams, but they are working their way down as the Rams are working their way up!!! UP UP AND AWAY!
Seattle Seahawks -7
I like the Aeahawks at home against an Arizona team with a rookie quarterback in Hall. Pete Caroll now has a legitimate running threat and the Seahawks have proven to be good home winners. LETS GO SEATTLE! btw Arizona is just terrible.
New England Patriots vs San Diego Chargers
Lets face it, the Chargers have all the talent in the world and their coaching isn't half bad but they've figured ways to throw away countless countless countless games to opponents far worse than the Patriots. That being said the Patriots aren't the same defense or the offense without Randy Moss. This is a no play for me as I can see this one being too close to call.
Denver Broncos -9.5
Come on, the Broncos aren't too happy with the ways things are going after that near win against the Jets. Expect the Broncos to destroy Oakland and their quarterback problems as Oakland will be dreaming of having their own Kyle Orton.
Minnesota Vikings vs Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers ML
Another NFC North Rivalry between two talented but heavily distracted teams. The Vikings, Favre, offensive line have many problems while their defense is still half decent and we know Aaron Rodgers has a gun but his offensive line can't protect him either. Who wins, an injured Favre or a Green Bay roster with half their starters gone. I give this one to the packers as it's home and a must win against a Vikings team to establish themselves as playoff contenders.
Alright hopefully these make sense; I'll return with MNF after these games have played themselves out.
