His passion is unmatched. And he is sharper with the X's and O's than people think, especially defensively. With him starting to be an analyst on some college games for ESPN, I'm fearful that he may have decided that this is his career now, and coaching is in the past.

Doubt he will get another chance. Only way is if comes back as a coordinator and has a good run, but he never even has done that before.

No owner would sell his fans on Herm Edwards as a savior.

Chiefs Homer here. When we got Herm, I thought to give him shot, and defended him, while the Chiefs continued to look pathetic. He is too nice a guy.
"A players Coach". I don't see him motivating Big-Ego players... He would be good as a development type coach. Not at all what Dallas needs. They need someone to crack the whip....................

Great point. So Herm will never happen. Usually when changing coaches, you try to get the opposite personality. Herm is another players coach just like wade. Dallas needs a hard nose coach like parcells or bellicheck. Dallas is a very talented team with no discipline. (How is miles austin leap frogging roy williams after what happened the week before.) The clear choice here is Bill Cowher.
