FFL (flag football league) for D Jackson
We need a new league for the sissies. Deshaun Jackson and all other concussion prone players should start a new league (FFL). Maybe Deshaun Jackson should not go in the middle. Deshaun Jackson has to be one of the smallest players in the NFL. What about when a real big receiver (marshall of the dolphins) or big rb (gore of the 49ers) run over a little db and causes a concussion to the little db. I have seen gore use a stiff arm to the face mask of a db and hurt him. NFL does not need to get soft just because the players today are too soft.

I'm willing to bet you couldn't take one hit from the NFL's smallest defensive back, or Chad Johnson for that matter, without sustaining a concussion.

Apparently your a fan of the senseless deaths overseas too??? No one wants to watch players get killed on the field, we like good hard hitting but also prefer to not watch people twitch on the field for 5-minutes either...if you call that soft so be it. The NFL is a violent sport and they don't make money by promoting violence like what we saw last week. Get a clue

D-Bag alert. While I don't agree with the rule myself, you have no right calling out D-Jackson. You probably couldn't take a hit from a 20 lb. crack whore.

I watched football in the 80's when hits were just brutal. I am bein harsh on jackson. Jackson is goin to come back and play again. The hit he took was not as vicious as a helmet to helmet hits that we have seen. THat was a shoulder into the chest hit and was a legal hit. i was angry at the ref calling a 15 yard penalty. As far as the players being soft today, it is true. Players are faster than players from 20-30 yrs ago. I remember players back in the 80's taking a lot more brutal hits than players of today. The players are not what they used to be.

There was nothing dirty about hit on jackson. The positioning of both players was bad. Receiver was trying to catch an overthrown pass and a db was trying to breakup the pass. When jackson went up in the air to catch, he left himself vulnerable to that hit. I can recall a dirty play when a 49ers special team linebacker fell on reggie bush's leg (calf) and broke his leg. Bush was already down and here came a 49ers linebacker to jump on his leg. He could have just touched bush because bush was already down and not going anywhere. That was a dirty play to hurt one of the best offensive players on the saints. To me that as kind of barbarian type of football. If it is not necessary, do not try to hurt players on the other team on purpose. The db did not try to do this on purpose. He hurt himself. THere are lot of dirty plays that no flags ever get called. Just watch for injuries every week and see how players get hurt.

A shoulder into the chest hit on Desean Jackson... hmmm wow, wonder how Dunta Robinson ended up with a concussion if he only hit him with his shoulder!
