Game: Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
After a week that did not play, the Patriots return to action now against a team of highly motivated Baltimore. Do not think that there because the Patriots have not played that they were resting. Quite the contrary, as those who follow the sport closely know, Randy Moss left the New England team to head to Minnesota to play for the Vikings. To fill the departure of Moss, the Patriots were seeking Deion Branch, known the house. For that, I think Tom Brady played a key role as Branch has always been a popular player at quarterback. Admittedly a 4th round pick for a veteran at this stage of his career ends up being injured too often is perhaps a high price to pay, but if we think that Branch is accustomed to drawing offensive franchise, the problems of adaptation will be practically, if not null and void. In the last game against the Dolphins ended the Patriots win by a lot thanks to special teams, where he highlighted the safety Patrick Chung, and Rob Ninkovich who managed two interceptions important. Still not convinced me that the Patriots defense. The Dolphins managed 400 yards of total offense, and especially in 3rd downs with Davon Bess, were unstoppable. The pass rush has not even been black. Perhaps explaining myself better, the pass rush has not been as bad as expected. In terms of pass defense, the thing is black, 28 in the league, although the Jets who have a record of 4-1 are not much better, at 23.
BALTIMORE RAVENS
At the outset of this new NFL season I thought what would be the candidates for the AFC title of the conference and beyond the usual betting Colts, I also thought the other two teams essentially big offseason they had. One of these teams is precisely these Ravens, the other is the Jets. The inclusion of Anquan Boldin and TJ Houshmandzadeh on the roster, joining Derrick Mason and Donte Stallworth of the Ravens is one of the best pass Offenses league. The running game the team returned to the charge, after nearly four games with 233 yards of absence, where Ray Rice had a particular focus of those earning 133 233. With the resurgence of the running game the Ravens attack this becomes essentially unpredictable. I chose to talk about the attack to be a new thing to the side of Baltimore since the defense is consistently one of the best. Led by veteran Ray Lewis, the Ravens have quality players at all defensive lines. Both Suggs and Ngata are undoubted quality players. The game against the Patriots will be the last in which the secondary of the Ravens will be without the leader of the secondary, the safety Ed Reed, who both Belichick appreciates. Thus, one of the weaknesses of this team is the secondary, which could be exploited by Tom Brady if the OL can hold the pressure, and the constant blitz.
As for the game itself, I expect a very strong and Ravens with an unshakable confidence. I know that the Patriots are a tough team to beat at home, coming on top of a bye week. However, I think the Pats' defensive will not be able to stop this attack now with the return of Ray Rice to last season's form becomes devastating. I remember the game of the playoffs last season where so Flacco threw the ball 10 times, and the running game the Ravens to destroy a defensive so unreliable. I do not know how far Brandon Tate will be influential as a wideout, and to what extent it will be a deep threat for the Ravens secondary. In the playoffs last season's Wes Welker played, this game will play and can cause problems in the middle of the line where LBs Ray Lewis of the Ravens will have no leg to keep up. Still, if they double team on Welker Pats' options are restricted basically to Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Tate who together have over 10 games professionally. To what extent does the Pats offensive line will handle the pressure? It is almost certain that the running game to be ineffective against these Ravens, making it likely that the Pats will opt for the passing game, leaving the Ravens unconcerned with the run defense, starting to worry primarily with the pass rush. As for me there are many matchups that the Patriots can not match. Boldin is the most crass, with no player who can make an appointment effective backfield. The player most capable of doing so is Devin McCourty, let's see what happens. With so many points in favor of the Ravens, the only con is that I see the same from playing outside. But the Patriots did not lose a playoff game at home since 1978 and were slaughtered last year for this very same team.
