NFL thread running now till end of season, lines are from 5 dimes. Like three dogs, three favs this week and I think good solid teaser. Bills= units

1. Ravens ML X 1 Bills
-Ravens finally have the offense rolling on all cylinders right now. The defense just shut down the broncos high flying pass game and will almost certainly give brady problems without a running game. Ravens by 6

2. Vikings ML X 1 Bills
-Cowboys are a terribly coached team that commits way too many mistakes. Talent wise, I think vikings have a slight edge and are at home. I will take them over the cowboys in this do or die playoff type game.

3. Broncos +3 X 2 Bills
-This is a feeler game, I think the jets are due for a let down. Sanchez has not had a pick all year, you gotta be kidding me. He throws 2 this game.

4. Saints -4 X 2 Bills
-I'm not buying the bucs right now and I'm certainly not selling the saints. I think the saints rebound after getting smoked by zona. Bucs are riding high but are due to be brought back down to earth this week. Saints by 7

5. Redskins +3 x 3 Bills
-Colts have had alot of trouble with physical teams this year and the defense in general has not been very good for the colts. Mcnabb puts up 300 this game, Redskins will win but taking the points.

6. Texans - 4 x 3 Bills
-Not buying the chiefs either, certainly not matt cassel.

-Fading two terrible teams right now (browns starting colt mccoy and Lions still starting whats-his-name) and giants/steelers are rolling. Teased it down because I'm weary of teams having to cover 10 or more, even against shitty teams.

Lots of juicy games next week had some free time today and here are my leans (probably will trim this down thrus) lines via 5dimes as of 10/19


Bears - 2.5
-The O line will get it together but will rely on the run much more. Cutler should not pass more than 25 times but I think the defense will do most of the work on this weak redskins offense.

Bengals +3
-Bengals coming off a bye and should be geared to go. This was a very good team last year and I'm not ready to sell them yet. This is a weaker falcons team than most think, they barely beat the browns, 49ers and lost badly to the eagles.

Browns +14
-Love the browns here might be my big play. They are taking a rookie qb on the road who really didnt play badly against the steelers last week. That being said they will rely mainly on the running game and should push around a weak saints run defense. Saints coming off a blowout win but the browns have been competitive all year, look for them to keep it close. They will lose but probably only by around 10

Panthers +2.5
-49ers comming off its first win blah blah, it was the raiders at home. Matt Moore will be starting again who is a much better qb than claussen. Look for them to get the running game going and get their first win of the year.

Tampa - 1.5
- Got beat real bad by the saints but I still believe this is a decent team. They should be able to handle an average rams team taking a rookie qb on the road, I think the rams are a little over valued here

Chargers -2.5
-They got smoked by the rams last week but return home against a tough pats team. This team usually plays better around this time of year and should be able to beat a new england team traveling cross country.

Cards +7
-They have a good running game and decent defense. As long as max hall doesn't turn it over too much they will hang with the s-hawks

Cowboys -3
-They looked good last week but had a bunch of dumb penalties and looks like alot of people already jumped ship


I like the steelers but that will be way too much of a public play will probably lay off

Forgot to add this one Vikes +1.5- good revenge factor in this game. Pack is pretty beat up too

revenge factor? its the vikes that beat the packers twice last year...If anyones got revenge on their minds, its the packers.... not to mention both the vikes wins have come at home, one of which was to the lions. Rodgers has had this game circled for about 9 months. hes gonna practice like a champ this week. meanwhile woodson is getting healthy, and matthews hasnt been fully ruled out yet. This is a night game as well, and that place may be as bumpin as youve seen a home crowd be yet this season. perhaps maybe KC on that first monday night, but its gonna be a raucous affair trust

favre still carries alot of hate and historically when its an emotional game, he usually comes through big. Look at last season- 2 huge wins, huge emotional victories. It wasn't just favre that turned it up last year, the O line played amazing, jared allen had a monster game, and the playmakers came through. Believe me, Favre still wants to stick it to ted tompson. As for the teams themselves looks like they are going in opposite directions. Packers haven't looked the same after the MNF against the bears meanwhile the vikes have been playing better, moss is getting more acquainted in the offense and peterson is still rolling. With that being said, it will be rocking in green bay and I would feel alot better if I was able to get this at the opener of +3.
