Agreed on both points.

My point was not so much how HE will play, but the effort that those around him will give. Anyone who has played sports at a high level knows that in situations where a man puts himself out there like that, it tends to bring out the best in those around him. Whether its the O-line blocking harder and faster or the recievers running every route 100% (heres looking at you Moss), I think his supporting cast will step up to the challenge tonight.

Speaking of Moss, is there anyone else that you would like to be on their side after a bitter divorce, public smack talking (w/revis), and generally bad things being said about you?!? He's pretty far up there on my list of "dont bet against me when I'm pissed off and have something to prove"...regardless of the matchup

I think you guys are missing the point on this. This is GREAT news for JETS. If Favre is trying to take game on his back and win its game over Jets win. As good as moss is he has no chem with him yet. If Favre wants to do whats best for team he hands the ball off 40 times but its all about him right now so he will chuck it a ton. BAD NEWS!!!

My original post has nothing to do with his texts and everything to do with his meeting with the team and the potential effect that could have. If the Vikings win SU I'd be shocked if it is by more then 3...1 of the alternative lines @ 5Dimes has the Vikings-3.5 +300, hard to see them paying that out imo if they win it will be by 3 or less. I think the jets win this by 4. gl all

I actually don't think this will be the result. And also hope it won't because I kind of agree. I'm just saying that there's a decent chance that his teammates respond to one of their own stepping up, being a man, and asking for their help.
