I just grabbed Texans -4 1/2 and 49ers -6. I'm not really expecting much line movement, but both seem like sharp plays and I don't want to lose any additional equity, just in case.
My reasoning with the Texans as that they are simply underrated. Sure they lost a couple tough ones to the Cowboys and Giants at home, but KC is neither of these. The key is that the Texans pass D is their weakness and passing offense also KC's biggest weakness. If you watched Cassell last week, you realize that he is terrible and probably doesn't deserve to be starting in the NFL. The only way to beat the Texans is with a capable QB. This matchup clearly favors the Texans.
The 49ers are going to get healthy against Oakland. Don't be seduced by Tom Cable's win over Norv Turner, that was their Super Bowl, prepare for a letdown. 49ers just need to keep doing the positive things and quit doing the negative things. 49ers have everything they need to be a great team yet this year, they showed it on Sunday night, they just need to get together and beat a lowly Raiders team at home to get going in the right direction.
