5 Dimes has the game at 4.5. I don't see the Vikes being given 7.5. Is it an alternate line?

Not sure who wins..... Minnesota NEEDS the win more...... but I think it's a high scoring field goal victory for someone.

Both teams have solid run games: Viking 5.0 ypc; Jets 5.1 ypc
Both teams have solid run defense: Vikings 3.6 ypc; Jets 3.2 ypc

Jets pass offense has been better, but not elite
Vikings pass d has been better, but both are top half of league in ypr

The game likely comes down to QB play and how much of an effect R. Moss has on Vikings offense. Sanchez has yet to turn the ball over. Jets +8 and Vikings -3. Turnovers will likely make this game and at this point I trust Sanchez more. While i dont think a poor game by Sanchez, or the Vikings D making plays is completely unrealistic, the Jets have played the tougher schedule this year and I think last year was an anomoly for Farve who has been a turnover machine the past 5-6 years.

Jets -220 has slightly more value than Jets -4.5 imo.

I am all over the Jets tonight, I cant see what makes anyone think that the Vikings are going to be able to stick with them tonight. I am shocked that a lot of people on here still are on this bandwagon with Farve being superman or something. I would think on this forum that the are some educated football gamblers and I am really starting to wander. I dont care about the simple fact that Farve is 41 years old but just look at his statistics this year. He has a sixty quarterback rating, I think 6 interceptions all ready. Real football people know that the reason why the vikings win has very little to do with Brett and more to with them establishing a run game and there dominance on the defensive side of the ball. Lucky for them that they have AP. Against any other team that is a huge advantage but not against the Jets. This is a team that prides itself on hard nose football and will be primed up for tonights game at home. I am not saying that Moss will not help them in the long run but too think that Moss (well past his prime) is going to come in tonight and just dominate Revis the best corner in the NFL is just a joke. The Jets defensive line is awesome and will be blitzing and putting pressure on Farve all night. I dont look into this usually but didn't the dolphins go into minnesota and beat them this year. Oh yea, they did how did that jets vs dolphins game turn out in Miami in week three??? Dont think about the Farve of old, and really look at the game it should be pretty clear that the Jets cover this one pretty easily. Jets 27 Vikings 17. I also would play a small wager on the Over should be alot of fireworks offensively with a forecast for perfect october football in the NJ swamp.
