I know before you all flip out on me the Beras looked like crap monday night against the Giants. However the Panthers are a terrible football team with a terrible head coach in John Fox. He could not lead anything let alone a young football team. Chicago will load the box with 10 guys and shut down the panthers okay running attack. Bears plus any points versus this team is a steal, just like last night with Florida State , check my thread out I guaranteed a blow out and guarantee another one today
Chicago Bears (+1.5) at Carolina Panthers
No Jay Cutler? No problem. Todd Collins isn’t a delicious mixed drink like his brother Tom, but he is a serviceable, fill-in quarterback. And it’s not like Chicago has to score a bunch of points to best the Panthers.
Carolina is averaging just 11.5 points per game this season, thanks in large part to the league’s second worst quarterback situation (Arizona, please take a bow).
The Panthers’ No. 1 wideout (Steve Smith) is out with a bum wheel and their other receiving weapon (if you can call Dwayne Jarrett that) was cut from the team. Think Chicago will be putting 10 guys in the box on Sunday? Better yet, do you think Jimmy Clausen is going to complete more than 11 passes?
