I'm new to this, hoping to get some feedback. Cards just announced Max Hall will start on Sunday vs. Saints, doesn't that make the Saints a good value at 6 1/2? Or does no one think that's a downgrade after Derek Anderson? Beginning of week I thought Saints overvalued on the road here, but with a rookie QB ...

The Saints have been underperforming this season against the spread, at least in my opinion. They nearly lost to Carolina at home w/ Clausen starting, who has not been too impressive. This is a hard game to pick because with the Saints have so much offensive fire power, but I'd be wary of betting big, if at all, on the Saints to cover by a TD on the road.Comment -

This game is a no play for me.....unless it drops a great deal. Max Hall is an upgrade over Andersen. He looked the best out of all QB's in pre season for the Cards.Comment -

I booked a small play on the Saints when I heard that the undrafted rookie is starting. The Saints may be a bit wounded, but the Cards just flat out suck and it would be shocking if they scored more than 17 this weekend. I think this line will be around 7 or 7.5 at game time.Comment -

IMO this game is being a bit over analyzed.. I understand the saints are pretty banged up. No doubt about it they are def. not the same team BUTT arizona has a few guys out as well not to mention the QB they were working on. Regardless if anderson is horrible or not he was their guy, atleast arizona thought so.. Now they are starting max hall who they picked up after a good show during training camp/ Sorry, I just dont see him getting the job done against the saints.. Especially if brees is in the game. huge mismatch..
All in all its still pretty hard to call it. ill def consider laying down some dough on saints halftime , not sure if ill take the points or lay it on the ML . But I can see them bouncing back this weekend against a weak ari team and put it away by the half.Comment -
