Betting on every game would render one's pocket book/bank account empty within' a month. If that long.
Im sure there are individuals that try to cap every game- but i honestly think that is a quick way to losing a bankroll.

Being selective on games played gives you a better percentage of ending up with a winning week. Especially if you are doing your "homework" on the games you decide to play.

I have 36 wins at thegreek's pick 15 games thing.

Not sure why people say you'll go broke picking every game in the nfl, it reduces your variance so it should be actually the opposite if you are not a losing player and making good bets.

plus it shows your true win rate faster. It shows you how hard it is to go 70% after 50, 100, 150 games.

I study every game, and in the back of my mind I have an idea on who I would've bet, but you're lucky to break even betting on coin flip games.

As far as the office pool goes, find yourself an easy system like taking the home dogs or whatever and see what happens. Does your office pick winners or play against the spread?

Sometimes I feel like I should bet every college and nfl game every single one. then mark down who I picked, and turn in bets on the opposite team.

No real caper can find value in every game. I would find a good computer system to run with and not a person for this many games.

Check out the cbs nfl page I believe they have 4 or 5 guys that pick ats every week. They're usually pretty good and some seasons a few win at a pretty good clip like 58-60%. However, over last 5 seasons or so they all have ended up around 50-52% playing every single game which proves they'd lose money with the vig factored in. Oh and the lines are stale because they pick'em versus Thursday's lines.

Maybe check out the Hilton contest for picks ats versus stale lines and follow some of the top guys there.

Yea, picking less than 4 games a week would be more profitable. Like the SBR Beat the prick contest, where you pick 4 games a week.
