The total has ballooned from 46 to 48 over the course of the week. Patriots always struggle against Miami particularly when they are playing down there. Yes their defense is bad and the Dolphins will have success through the air but I expect methodical drives tonight out of Miami and stick with their identity and have a nice mix of run and pass.
Also, I think the Dolphins will limit the big pass play and Vontae Davis and company will keep the play in front of them. Everyone has their totals in the 50s for this, but a division game where both teams are battling to go 2-1 in the division and keep pace with the Jets. Expect a total closer to 24-17.
