Reasons not to bet on the Saints
Who is going to be their running back
Brees with a sore knee could take one bad hit and will be out of the game
    Kicking game is questionable
Carolina with 2 good rb's against a weak Saints rushing defense
And because this is the NFL where anything can happen

Running backs are going to be Chris Ivory and Ladell Betts . This should mean the Saints go to the air even more, which obviously helps. I wouldn't be surprised if Ivory has a breakout game though... this is his first chance to make a splash on the team and get playing time.

If Brees goes down, they could be in trouble. Chase Daniel is the backup. I'm not worried about Brees here though, it was diagnosed as a minor sprain, and he's a pretty tough guy.

Carney is kicking the FGs today, and he's usually solid.

Carolina has 2 great RBs, but they haven't used them this year. Something like 98 passing plays to 65 rushing plays. If they get behind early, they'll try to throw their way back into the game. With Clausen starting, I don't like the chances of that happening.

Agreed with the last point. I am not nearly as confident with this pick as I was a few days ago, would be nice if Pierre Thomas was playing. Teasered it down though (to -2 and -5), so I'm not too worried yet. Definitely a tough call for the original spread though

Panthers like playing in the Superdome...they're 7-1 straight up against the saints in their last 8 played @ the saints!
