    Super Bowl . . . Who Cares
It is sad to say but I really wouldnt care if I overslept and missed this game. I mean Ill be watching it like everyone else, but Im not excited at all to watch this game. I was so amped up for all the playoff games a week ahead of time, but to me it feels like NFL season is already over. I don't know if its because I expect the pats to win easy in this one, or just because the super bowl is overrated. I mean the super bowl is great and all, but its been a while since the true best two teams in the NFL have played against each other. The dam giants are in the super bowl, that is weak. I understand its exciting that anything can happen and they have done a great job to win 3 tough road games , but who cares its still the fu*kin Giants! Bottom line the Super Bowl is overrated every year. It's much more exciting watching the rest of the playoffs, especially last sunday with the two Conf Champ games. Every year I just hope for a competitive close games throughout, but this game will not be close. They say their is parity in the NFL, which is great but its just not true. The NFL is just down all around. I love football but, their are too many teams that just aren't that good. I mean you got the pats, colts, and I guess chargers and thats it! And there all in the AFC. Im just frustrated I guess.

If you're a gambler, then you should treat the Super Bowl just like any other game. I know guys like to brag about nailing a big game like the Super Bowl and it doesn't get much bigger than the Super Bowl but it's just another game.

I care. If the Pats lose, I'm going to have a VERY grumpy boyfriend to deal with...for months.

Season is over unless you're a fan of one of the teams. First half will determine if I'm going to sit through the second. Right now the game is a big *SHRUG*.

I've watched just one Super Bowl since the Bills-Giants game in 1992, and that was the Titans-Rams contest in 2000. It's a great time to go catch a movie since everyone else is at a SB party or some bar.

                I agree with ya, Louisvillekid1.

I care zero about the Giants and Pats. In fact, I actually dislike the Pats. For the Giants, I feel nothing. My two teams both choked, and now I'm miserable. I'd almost rather watch a Dolphins-Browns preseason game at this point, if I've gotta watch the NFL. Watching the Pats & Giants is just insult to injury for me.

Also, it's just one game. During the season, you've got over a dozen games every weekend. 16 during the peak weeks. Even the first couple of rounds of the playoffs offer plenty of interesting matchups. For the wildcard & divisional round, out of the 4 games, there's bound to be at least one that can catch some interest.

To me, the end of the season is like the 12 days of X-mas. The first two rounds of the playoffs are like X-mas. The Conference championships are like New Years, all glitz but leaves me feeling empty. The Super Bowl is like eating two-week-old leftovers from whatever remains of old X-mas cookies and stale sparkling wine.

I care because I will have action on the game. The rush will be there for all the props and I will be in Vegas.

I only care because I'll see some friend that I haven't partied with for a while. Looks like the game will be on in the background, but I don't see anyone watching unless the Giants can come through with a big effort and make it interesting. If the pats are up by 10 at half, forget it.
