#2One normal unit, just like any other game in any other sport.Comment -

#3one unit per bet. But, I might run a little wild with the props. I haven't really taken a hard look at them yet.
If I put too much on a game, it really ruins the enjoyment for me.Comment -

#6Sorry, I never bet props Dan, with the possible exception of pointspread props. I won't do that here though, because I think this line is close to where it should be (if anything, seems a little SHORT, which I just about never say about a double-digit favorite).Comment -

Maybe I'll just wait it out and do a little "live betting" at Matchbook.Comment -

#10I agree that the line does suck. I was hoping the line would get to 14, and I'd start buying the Giants, but it never happened. I got the AFC -10.5 last week, thinking I was buying good value no matter what two teams showed up. I never ever imagined the Giants could pull a decent upset and still be getting less than 14. Right now the pointspread is a "no play" for me. I'd need it down in the 11 range to start betting the Pats some more.Comment -

#11It's really no different to me then any other game.As a matter of fact I don't really have a good feeling about this game, and I don't know who I'm gonna take. The only reason I'm even betting on the game is because it is the super bowl, but I'm not gonna lose $500 just because it's the super bowl.I'll probably put down about $150-200.If it was a game I liked, like last year I bet $1500 on the Colts. That may not be allot of money for some of you,but it is to me.Comment -

#12I'm going to take the money I could bet on the game and head out on a dinner & movie date with the Mrs., scoring major brownie points so that when I do something stupid, like forget Valentine's Day in a couple of weeks, I won't catch as much flak. Besides, the Super Bowl is for amateur sports fans like New Year's Eve is for amateur drinkers and partygoers.Comment -

#16Beer and burrito money only for me. Watch first half at home, to a party second half, obligated to, but don't really want to.
It's really just a bad game (usually) not a national happening.Comment -

#17I got three units ( $750) on the pats. About another $200 in various office pools. A couple of drinking commitments for each touchdown. And finally sexual favors from the wife. All of the above things are on the line for various prices.Comment
