Good day to all my fellow gents. I have been getting slaughered by the NFL since the season started. So I decided not to think too deeply into the weekly contests, which I have been doing. And it has been costing me. So I decided to look at the matchups and just go with a play that stands out to me.
This week:
New England -14.5 7 Units
I looked at this matchup last Monday and I said this was the game I was going to be on immediately. Nothing is ever a lock in this hobby or profession but I know Buffalo has some serious problems. They don't have a quaterback. They have one decent receiver in Lee Evans who will be doubled because there isn't anyone else to throw to. The best part of there offense is the running game and that has yet to show up. And it won't because the offensive line is below average. The defense doesn't boast a legitimate pass rusher. The secondary is above average but that won't slow any team down if they can't stop the run. So any team with an explosive offense will dismantle the Bills. And I think NE's is just as dynamic as GB. I figured why not NE with a stud QB, receivers, and a decent running game. NE's defense isn't what it used to be but it doesn't have to be for the Bills. The Bills won't be able to keep up with the Patriots. The Patriots could probably cover this by kicking field goals. This is how bad Buffalo's offense is. Plus, I have never seen an NFL spread this high. I guess Vegas is trying to keep us honest but it won't work. The Bills are just that bad. And it doesn't help that they are on the road where NE happens to play very well all year.
Is any one ready for a Wes Welker ten catch, 100 yard day? And watch how NE's tight ends look like stud wideouts. And I didn't even mention Randy Moss who is playing for a new contract. I don't see NE running that much because that is not what they do. But they can if they want to. And that makes it just as bad for the Bills. They will be playing from behind all day.
Go Patriots!
