thanks, pal. the SD/SEA under is based in part upon weather (supposed to rain in Seattle Sunday afternoon) and Rivers' past performances in the rain on the road, in part upon both teams looking like slow starters offensively thusfar (i.e., much better after halftime), and in part upon the home dog having a significant special teams advantage. Rivers makes tons of big plays, but i think they'll be curtailed on the road at Qwest in the rain (esp if Matthews doesn't play; Tolbert is good, but not as likely to break a big play). i think that Seattle will lean heavily on the ground game at the start (they had 4 TOs and only 22 1/2 minutes possession in loss at Denver last week) and San Diego will too in order to try and keep the crowd out of the game. i just don't think that this game ever really opens up. i had it Seahawks, 17-16, but skewed to the favorite at last minute: 17-16, Chargers.

agree. went back and forth between the over and the Falcons in that one (last four meetings have hit at least 49, which is the total this week), but like the Falcons a little better than the over. Saints were +4 in TOs plus that safety, yet narrowly escaped with a win monday night. i think the pendulum swings back sunday....

ya but with the division Rivalry against the superbowl champs in who dat city....never know. LSU is suppose to have the loudest stadium in college football- i wonder what its like for the saints.

saints played in Baton Rouge some after hurricane, but ever since, back in superdome (aka terrordome). superdome HFA <<<< LSU HFA. not even close. and i can't stand Les Miles, so i'm no homer. Baton Rouge is like 80 miles from New Orleans. remember, that's why Ignatius J. Reilly got so petrified by the bus ride?
