The dallas cowboys vs houston texans
Houston will get their licks in with the new balanced attack on offense but Dallas’s far superior and desperate personnel on defense will step up. This ladies and gentleman is must game for Dallas, All the pressure is on Dallas .Run the ball, Run the ball, Run the ball! wear defenses down, remember Mr. Calvin Hill, Mr. Tony Dorsett, Mr. Walt Garrison, Mr. Daryl Johnston (aka Moose) and Mr. Emmit Smith? Open up the passing lanes, they have probably the best tandem of receivers and TE's who can run routes and catch the ball, not to metion Dez, I like Mr. Bryant, reminds me of Mr. Irvin, O line, protect Mr. Romo and magic will happen, Mr Wilson and Mr. Garrett, study history and SB at home will happen. ..

Cowboys coordinator Jason Garrett will never win any awards as a brilliant coach but either will Houston’s Gary Kubiak. Match-up advantages in the passing game will help the Cowboys cover with the points. The Texans have given up 442.0 yards per game thus far and Tony Romo will find Dez Bryant, Miles Austin, Jason Witten and Felix Jones all day.

If Dallas can minimize the penalties and have no turnovers (or at least win the turnover battle), I like Dallas chances against Houston. I think if the offense will score more, and there defense won't give up 27. The Pressure is on !!!!!! A loss for Dallas, and owner Jerry Jones may already look to do some house cleaning among the staff. on Wade Phillips, he is officially on notice. The Texans are a three-point favorite My Pick This Week Is Dallas+3. In the end, the Cowboys emerge on top in a wild affair, taking a 33-30 victory for their first win in Texas, and the headline “Blazing Saddles” adorns the sports page of Monday’s Dallas MorningHerald.

MY RECORD AFTER WEEK #2 IS -TWO WINS- O LOSES -AND ONE TIE [AGAINST AND WITH THE SPREAD] ~MY BETTING STYLE~ ..
I bet one game A week[Some exceptions applied Monday & Thursday Night games]

I never bet spreads over 10, Never a road team, getting 7 more points, Never home steam giving up 7 more points I work off a spread sheet, Weather, injures, Power ratings, Defense and Offence analyzes, Team coaches comparisons My Betting Style>> Press one time on 2nd win,I will go back to a Original bet after the press Win Or Lose... One Bet at time ...You can't win? if you don,t press once ???[ I wonder who said that ??//lol] More Bets You Make in any given week of play, like ...Parlays,Over and under's on a game with the a team?? or whatever??with These Bookmakers .. Your percentage to win is cut in half

lol Dallas' "superior personnel" that always fail to deliver.

I don't know if people just figured this offense out or what but losing to the Redskins and Bears is a pretty sorry start.
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.

          MR,
Thanks for the pick and I love your plays.... Always solid going back to last year.

But, again, same as last week I can't not play on/against my Texans. I'm a big supporter and follow Texans closely. They will rise when underestimated and beat ANYONE ANYWHERE (as shown in last year when they were 5-3 away), but fold when everyone count on them.
This is a game where, IMO, it's not about how Cowboys will play... but because it's in Houston, it's about how Texans will respond to success as evidently they fell behind early against Was.
This is a game where points don't matter. Either Texans respond and play up to their potential at home and win big or they will lose SU. And I'm not sure, so I will take a pass and watch this game.

The fact of the matter is, Houston has already beaten two teams better than Dallas. They have more talent, better coaching, and home field. I struggle to see how Houston -3 isn't the lock of the week.

Sure, its a must win for Dallas...but in the same way that the Detroit @ Minnesota is a "must win" game for the Lions! They're 0-2 because they're a bad team. The only question is whether Jones will fire the coaching staff mid-season or wait until they're done.

Dallas just needs to learn to score. 4th in yards per game, 26th in scoring. I like Dallas over Texans, just for the fact that they know they cant start 0-3 and keep any expectations.

Just because a team NEEDS to win, doesnt mean they WILL.

The desire to not go 0-3 doesnt mean a team will find the scheme or personell to win.

THe will to win, doesnt imply a win.

Certainly that's how upsets can happen," "You get a big play here and there, you get a loose fumble, pick it up and score, things like that. You generally need to get one or two big breaks to get a big upset. If you can get those and not give the other team anything, it can happen." Dallas has to win and play hard... UPDATE 9/24/10 Irving, TX (Sports Network) - The Dallas Cowboys have released fullback Deon Anderson and signed tight end Scott Chandler to the active roster from the practice squad.
Anderson, who underwent surgery last week to repair a torn meniscus, was scheduled to miss two-to-four weeks.
The 27-year-old, who did not touch the ball on offense in a season opening loss to Washington, started 19 of the 39 games he played in since joining the Cowboys in 2007 out of Connecticut.
Rookie Chris Gronkowski stepped into the starting role last week and caught three passes for 13 yards. The release of Anderson cleared a spot on the active roster for Chandler, who will add depth to the position after starter Jason Witten suffered a head injury in last week's loss to Chicago. Witten is still expected to start this Sunday's game against Houston.

UPDATE 9/24/10 The Dallas Morning News IRVING – The Cowboys expect to have tight end Jason Witten and cornerback Mike Jenkins for Sunday's game at Houston. Both were injured in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to Chicago. Jenkins was taken off the field on a cart as a precaution because of a bruised right knee. Witten suffered a concussion when hit by two Bears after a reception. It's doubtful either player will be cleared to practice Wednesday, but coach Wade Phillips expects they will practice this week.
That paves the way for them to play against the Texans. "It looks like they will play," Phillips said Monday. An MRI revealed Jenkins had no ligament damage, and the cornerback said he felt fine. Witten said there are no lingering effects from the hit. "I didn't feel like it was a concussion," Witten said. "I felt woozy there for a little bit, but everything is fine. "I feel great. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be playing this week." Witten engaged in a heated sidelines discussion with Dr. Robert Fowler of the club's medical staff but was not allowed to return. "I told him I was fine," Witten said. "But I understand what his role is and what he's trying to do. I just felt I knew what my body felt like more than anyone else. Any competitor is going to tell you that." Witten said he has no headaches or other symptoms associated with a concussion. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware was diagnosed with a mild concussion last week, and was limited in practice for two days before being fully cleared Friday.

Things are not looking good in Dallas... I think I'll pass and wait to see how they respond to the 0-2 season start!
