Who is a worse coach? Brad Childress or Wade Phillips?

Im saying Childress is worse b/c Wade at least let's his coordinators do their job w/o meddling in their play-calling.

Both coaches look lost on the sidelines. Is there any chance that either of these guys get fired before the season starts?

Wade is sharp calling the defense imo. But he isnt a leader. Dallas is such a SOFT ass team right now...Oline steps up, Romo makes a play and Dallas wins. Cant give up 27 tho...

Childress beat Phillips in the playoffs last year. That has to count for something.

Maybe we set the bar too high for NFL coaches. Even Andy Reid is getting hated on lately and he's a gold standard for winning.

Just because the guys eats a lot of cupcakes doesn't mean he is a cupcake. I have to go with Phillips here as well though, as Chilli at least got to the NFC title game and barely lost it.

If by better you mean in-game decisions like "should I use a timeout here?" or "should we try to run a desperation play with 4 seconds left in the half at our own 35 with not timeouts here?" then yes, I think I could.

I always felt Chilly got a bad rap in Minny because he looks like a nerd and he comes from the Andy Reid "screw the media" school. I didn't like the way he lost control of his offense to Favre last year, but once McNabb comes over after a 5-11 season with the Redskins, he'll be fine.

Wade is just Jerry's puppet/fall guy, so it's hard to be too tough on him. I also think the talent in Big D has been overrated.
