Colts -6 @ Denver..Thoughts
Bodog had this at -6 last night. I love the colts favored by less than a TD, even on the road but not sure why this line is so low. I think Denver is trash but I could be wrong. Any ideas on why this is only -6 or do you think thats the right line for this?

I havent looked too much into it but I feel as if it could be another game like SNF where the colts blow out their spread

I agree with the no play, but I like the over 48 points.

I'm just not a big fan of going against 6 point home dogs, not a winning play in the long run.

Similar situation to N.O. last night. Dome/turf team heading west to play outside on grass.

I'm not sure enough of who either team really is to know which is the right side in this game. Are the Colts the team that had to throw it 50+ times against the Texans? Or are they the team that beat the Giants like a drum? Are the Broncos the team that lost to a dreadful Jacksonville team week 1? Or rhe team that scored a ton against Seattle in week 2?

Personally, this seems like a great game to pass on...

I'd only touch it if the Denver line grows....

Going be interesting to see how the impact of Mckinney's suicide... still don't know why he did that. Didn't he realize how good he had it?

This line was down to -5 at one point.

You say why is it only 6, I think 6 is too high as it is. Did you blow your load watching the colts on snf?

The suicide thing can make it a bit tricky. Curious where this goes. I'll take +7 and throw the colts in some teaser.

Nah, I went 4 units on the colts. Way to early in the week to be blowing your wad on 1 game. Even if the colts play like they did against Houston, Denver won't be score boat loads of points.

This line probably goes down to 4, and Denver gets crushed.

Indy is a solid pick here and has owned Denver in the regular season and playoffs for as long as I can remember.

Broncos are a joke... ditching Cutler, Marshall, Shanahan, and drafting Jesus Jr.

Anything -6 1/2 and under, I would go Indy.

Colts ML is a GUARANTEED winner.

I have half my bet on the moneyline and the other half on Indy -3 @ -175

I just don't believe Denver gets it done, in any way. As well, Colts will be scoring a lot of points..Denver is 18th over all in Points allowed and 19th overall in total yards allowed. Those stats also against Jacksonville and Seattle, Both bad teams.

I will say I'm starting to like the over in this game more and more.

"Overall against the Broncos, Manning has completed 177-of-268 passes (.660) for 2,165 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions. He has a career passer rating of 107.6 against Denver. To a defensive coordinator, that number borders on ridiculous."

indy pass rushers are not the same away from the turf, den offense is capable and with Royal looking like the good Royal from his rookie year and Thomas coming back from injury they actually have some decent weapons for the always unappreciated Orten. a little worrisome that den doesnt have much of a ground game or pass rush but i feel they can score with indy and keep this reasonably close.

Denver will score points but I highly doubt they keep up with indy. I don't thing I would hang colts like production on the likes of eddie royal. Even if he did look good against the Seahawks, who are not a good team. Found this nugget of wisdom on the interwebs:

It will be much tougher for the Broncos if starting cornerbacks Champ Bailey and Andre Goodman are unable to play.

Bailey, a nine-time Pro Bowler, was on crutches after last Sunday's 31-14 win over Seattle due to a foot problem, while Goodman's status is also uncertain as he deals with a thigh injury.

"It would be an important game obviously to have those guys available for," Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said Monday. "And they'll do everything they can do to make sure they're ready for Sunday. And that's really all we can tell right now. I don't know if they're going to be or not."

If both are out, Denver would presumably start rookies Perrish Cox and Cassius Vaughn, although Cox may have gained confidence after getting his first career interception against the Seahawks. Bailey and safety Brian Dawkins also picked off Matt Hasselbeck in the game.

That was the Broncos' highest total since they intercepted Manning three times during their most recent meeting Dec. 13. Manning, however, threw for four touchdowns in a 28-16 victory, and he's totaled 19 TD passes in his last five full games against Denver - all victories, including two in the playoffs.

Royal has looked good both his games and while they were not playing defensive juggernauts this is not the 1st time he has played well as he had a very good rookie year followed by the dreaded soph slump. he is a weapon that should be respected in the slot. not to mention im not ready to crown indy's d as anything special. ppl get way to high on a team coming off a primetime win, indy wins this game by 3-4 points max. 31-27 sounds about right to me, over should be considered (but i hate overs). gl this weekend

Indy's D isn't sepctacular, but if you have one down field threat it's easy enough to double up on one guy. How will Denver stop indy? Especially if they're without 1 or both of their starting corners? I just don't see what so ever how Denver can hang with them.
