Two "deflection" interceptions is what killed the 49ers'.

Saints would've run away with this game if it wasn't for the 9ers D. Good game by san fran they seem to be turning things around

Thats what makes the Saints great, when they have a chance to make a play they make it, how many times have you seen defensive players have a chance to catch a tipped pass or a ball thrown right to them and they drop it, the saints db's have to have the best hands in the league.

I don't understand when people say "the better team loss"
I would like to say the team that loss made mistakes, that cost them the game...Therefore they weren't the better team, because the better team didn't make any mistakes.
Some people just need to make excuses when they lose.

100% agree! Though I also think there is some merit in this thread... not sure what happened to SF in week 1, but this team is going to be good if not excellent this year. That D is something special and I've always thought Alex Smith was better than he's been given credit for. He sure as hell has the weapons.

Saints looked somewhat ordinary. They're good, not great.

SanFran is a poorly coached team. Almost as bad as the Cowboys.

JJ 49ers still making too many mistakes... doubt at 0-2 teams are concerned about them at this point.

Not sure why everyone is now hoping on the 49ers bandwagon the saints were 2-6 ats on the road last year no reason to think they'll be better this year

almost ALL of the points were scored with the wind, both teams looked great when they had the wind, factor in the turnovers and the fact New Orleans should have gotten TD's and not FG's twice, and it really was deceptive.

Exactly! Saints are a dome/turf team playing outside on a slow grass field at the Stick.
And let's not forget, the Saints are #4 pulling it down and running with it or losing the coin flip in overtime from not going to the Super Bowl and the Colts falling on the onside kick from losing the Super Bowl.
The point is the Saints are a good, not GREAT, team...
