    Using the % betting?
How should I be using the percentage of players betting on a side to make decisions?

look for Reverse Line Movement....a perfect example of this was last week on monday night Chargers at Chiefs..if you would have checked, there was huge % on the chargers and the line went from Chiefs +6 (if my memory serves me right) to a closing line of Chiefs +3.5 ... Everyone was taking the chargers and despite everyone taking the chargers at -6, the line moved down to -5,-4 and even -3.5 ..this is known as Reverse Line Movement ..when you see this, it is usually BUT NOT ALWAYS a sign of a good play... sometimes just taking the other side is enough, like the pats vs jets in week 2..everyone was on the pats -3 and the jets won outright..

      hope this helped a bit...

I use it as a tool like any other tool to handicap the games. Let's say I like Team A over Team B. If I look and see Team A is getting pounded I will take that as a red flag (though it isn't always the case) and do more research. Sometimes it can be enough to keep me off the game altogether.

Another way it helps is when you like the team the public doesn't like. Let's say in this case Team B is getting pounded but you like Team A. Usually (though not always) the line will move in favor of Team A to try to even out the bets. That means by being patient you can get a better price.
