Singeltary is all BALLS NO BRAINS.
The NFL is not about cavemen hitting the hardest... it's a thinking man's game. The guys winning the rings are the Brady's, Manning's, Brees's, Warner's... soon to be Aaron Rodgers etc.
It's about reading coverage, beating defenses etc... It's not about being a caveman and hitting the other guy harder... It's not about having the #1 running game.
Mike Singeltary is an angry black man living in the 80's and he's NOT a good football coach. Maybe not now, maybe next year or the year after this team is going to blow up and the team will turn on him. Calling out one of your top players might look cool if it works, but it's going to blow up sooner or later. You never see top coaches publicly humiliating their players like that... I know the fan in some people like singeltary for "telling it like it is", but I think he's a horrible horrible coach with horrible strategy.
and yes, he's going to have a Herm Edwards, Denny Green, Jim Mora type blow up one of these days that we will laugh about for 10 years...
