    Week 2 picking every game
Not BETTING every game, just picking every game for fun and to see whether I do indeed do better than NY Post moron 'Hondo'.

Lines are taken from footballlocks.com at the time of making this post.

    Cleveland -3 over KC
Backing Cleveland can make your trousers brown, but it takes more than a flukey home win to give me Chief belief.

    Buffalo +13 @ Green Bay
I detest lines of around two TDs. Packers tended to beat poor teams handily last season but I'll give Buffalo credit for some grit if nothing else and forsee a special teams touchdown for them to avoid an embarrassment.

    Cincinnatti +2.5 over Baltimore
Bengals not as bad as advertised in Patriots defeat and seem to know their way around Baltimore as last season's sweep suggests. Should also know how to nullify at least one of Ravens' new WR threats (Houshmanzadeh).

    Tennessee -5 over Pittsburgh
A rookie center, their left tackle out and no 'Big Ben' don't bode well for Steelers as they head into 90 degree Nashville. As unimpressive as last week's win over Atlanta was, Denis Dixon performed creditably and 5 points may be a stretch for Titans, hence no actual bet on this.

    Philadelphia -6.5 at Detroit
Heartbreaker for Lions last week, but they had been comprehensively outplayed all the same. Eagles desperate to record a win and so [insert your own Vick pun here]

    Dallas -7 over Chicago
No better time to support a competitive team than when they've just screwed up on national TV and are facing mediocre - at best - opposition. Pizzas all round.

    Carolina -3.5 over Tampa Bay
Refusing to support Tampa until they reinstate the orange uniforms. Hell, they beat Green Bay last season wearing those.

    Atlanta -6.5 over Arizona
Not a confident choice, but Cards face their second week on the road and won't benefit from three interceptions this time out. The fact that they fumbled seven times at St Louis is a red flag.

    Minnesota -5.5 over Miami
Miami would need to be facing some kind of forty-year-old QB who didn't even go to training camp to have a chance in this game and... oh. Nah, still a comfy home win as Vikings put the air-conditioning on really cold to stymie Floridian visitors

    Oakland -3.5 over St Louis
Seems like I always pick the home team, so I'll pick the home team. There's probably also some ancient handicapping system about opposing a rookie QB until he wins a game, or something. Let's go with that.

    Denver -3.5 over Seattle
After peculiar win over SF last week, I think the sky falls in on Seattle here. Lucky for them the air is thin in Denver so it won't hurt as much.

    Houston -3 @ Washington
My least-researched game of the week. I hear McNabb is still hurt and note that the Texans recorded some good road wins last season. Wouldn't bet on this with a bargepole - unless the odds were really good, like I could win ten bargepoles.

    San Diego -7 over Jacksonville
Division loss in the bag, Chargers will be on high-voltage. Jags travel extremely badly to West coast.

New England -3 @ NY Jets
Jets' strengths and weaknesses are the wrong way round to face an offensive juggernaut with a questionable defense.

    Indianapolis -5 over NY Giants
The only certainty in this game is that the Manning v Manning media coverage will be utterly unbearable. Even the ad-breaks will provide no respite.

New Orleans -5.5 @ San Diego
49ers will be making every adjustment in the book to rebound from the league's most inept performance of week one, but it probably won't be enough

I was thinking about taking Dallas -7 as well, but the Bears aren't as bad as everything thinks, despite their performance again the Lions.

Thats pretty close to what I have, except I having Green Bay covering that -13 and Tennessee wont cover the -5. Beside those two everything the same.

edited: Make it three. I'm taking chicago also.

Pick week 3 so we can fade JK JK. It's ok, it just happens. I normally go 9-10 a week on Pick um's. But even that is horrible if you add my true total if I had to cover the spreads.
