    Super Bowl opinions
If you feel like it, add a brief description of an angle on the Super Bowl.

Pats blew out teams early in season, because they had a lot of new looks on offense. Since November Pats have covered just twice, and have been involved in some very close games. Their unbeaten status is a bookmaker’s dream. Books can offer hugely inflated lines and people still bet the Patriots, because this team is hyped in the media as possessing almost supernatural powers. (In reality, they’re quite vulnerable; and more lucky than good to still be unbeaten.)

Im thinking Pats blow them out should be ideal playing conditions and looking for the big plays to return on Super Sunday for the Pats could be a blow out

Brady will be the key. If the Giants can get to him and harass him, it will be difficult for the Pats to cover. If the Giants play like the Jags, then expect Brady to break the completion percentage record for the Super Bowl and maybe the Giants keep it close but the Pats will win and cover in the end.

The Patriots will finally have a fast track to let the passing game loose. The Patriots have been playing in less than ideal passing conditions for quite a while. I bet Brady, Moss, Welker & company are licking their chops. If the Patriots 0-line can just keep Brady upright, this one will be over quickly.

A lot of people don't realize the Pats have used mainly vanilla coverages and schemes very late in year, had scouts attending games for the playoffs, etc.

I'm not saying they should have blown teams out every game, just that something to be considered is BB and McDaniels have been pretty judicious in terms of the playbook. Don't show what you don't have to, and ultimately, they've done enough to be undefeated.

Anything they haven't shown, this is the time. They came up with a sick fake in their statue of liberty play they believed would work against the Jags, and it did to perfection. Having two weeks to prepare for a team they just played in December, with their coaching advantage, and the fact that wind/weather isn't a factor in this game, I like their chances for sure. There will be definite value if this number keeps dropping.

My thought exactly. Giants secondary will be a huge liability.

Giants have been virtually mistake free this post season. No interceptions, and a solid effort every time. Patriots have looked much more vulnerable. Giants establish control early. If history is any indication, Patriots win it with a late FG.

If NE's offensive line can contain the Giants pash rushers this game will be a blowout imo. The Giants pash rush takes a lot of pressure off a weak secondary that Brady will exploit if not pressured. I'm hoping that it's a good, close game as I will be taking the points in this one.

Let me go ahead and tell you who I'm pulling for so all of you can take it into consideration.

Since the Patriots have a guy on their team from my little hometown, I am pulling for them to win.

However, so far this year, every team I have pulled for ends up with freak injuries and loses. I am a sports jinx.

                        the end.

I make the game Patriots -10.5 / 52. So I like the dog and the under.

The moneyline is out of whack as usual... I lean towards laying -450.

Here is the deal on the game. . .

The giants secondary is going to get exposed early and often. Look for brady to have over 220 Yds passing in the first half. The giants are too banged up to contain this pats passing attack. I look for donte stallworth to have a huge game converting on some deep passes, with all the focus on moss and welker. Kevin Faulk will also have 5+ catches in this game. On the other side of the ball , the giants should be able to have some early success. However, They won't be able to keep up with the pats scoring which will force 'em to abandon the running game and put it all on manning's back. This of course is not a good thing. Once the giants go one - dimentional manning will make some mistakes that the pats will be sure to take advantage of. Ill Give me predictions by quarter.

                                1st quarter . . . 14 - 7 NE
                                Halftime score . 24 - 14 NE
                                3rd quarter . . . 38 - 21 NE
                                Final score . . . 41 - 28 NE . . . Play over . . .

i think Ne comes out firing and the giants play a slow conservative game. the one thing i noticed about the games which NE almost lost is, the other team always came out with an emotional start. They looked good until the adrenaline ran out.

When things cooled down, NE takes over. I think they giants take a calm approach and the pats go deep multiple times.

The Giants have a chance, the Patriots have been so close to losing several games since the end of the season. Wildcard upset? That would ruin a perfect season.
