With as fast as he is, and the way he's taken balls 109yds before I don't blame him for wanting to make a huge play, but it was a poor decision and cost them vital field position. A turnover in this spot of the field isn't all that bad for NE, especially if SD doesn't get any first downs.

Been saying it a while, but it's hard to really establish because of the style of offense NE has been all year, but Laurence Maroney is slept on. Very underrated back. They've kept him fresh and saved him for the playoffs, when he's gotten blocks he's ran well when he's given the ball all year.

The line is so good for pass protection, but in terms of creating those big holes they really haven't been there all year for Laurence. If he goes to another team in a diff system, he will shine.
