Kolb fails concussion test, Vick with 1st team

The quarterback controversy that exists in Philadelphia (without really existing, technically speaking) should be fairly calm until Sunday, as it appears that Kevin Kolb is somewhat unlikely to play after not passing the second phase of the concussion test on Wednesday.

Stewart Bradley, the linebacker who suffered a concussion on Sunday, also failed the second phase of the concussion test, although they have "made progress" since Monday according to Reid.

According to the Philadelphia Daily News , because of Kolb's status, Michael Vick will take the first team reps Wednesday and Thursday, although Andy Reid declined to discuss Friday.

"We'll take Friday as it comes," Reid said.

Reid also said that "Kevin knows he the guy" which is the same mantra he's repeated since Sunday and the same one he'll repeat until Kolb is ready to play.

The issue will be if Vick has a monster game on Sunday -- the Eagles play the Lions, so it's entirely possible -- and causes fans to clamor for his ascension to the starting role .

I hope your right coach. Kolb is very very bad!! I'm not just going on last game. Guy is a bum.. Reid still saying Kolb is the QB. Guy can't even control his own kids how is he going to control this? reid is a idiot. he should of traded mcnabb a while ago. He had 2 great 2nd string quarterbacks that both did better than mcnabb. They traded him too late and are now stuck with shit

Still better then Kolb. What do u have to gameplane with for Kolb?? At least Vick can run. Kolb is horrible. I dont give a fck about his 2 300+ yd games last yr. One game they were getting killed the other they played the Chiefs.. The guy is a bum and will be a third stringer within 2 yrs.. If u cant score with that receiving core u suck and he can't!!

Kolb don't have a concussion. This is a good way to avoid the QB controversy and take a look at what Vick can do. I just don't know if Shaun Hill can get it done for the Lions. I think Vick out performs Hill.
