Week 2 Fantasy Football WR Question
Need your input again guys. Which 2 would you start of these players below?

Percy Harvin: Had 1 catch from Favre.
Pierre Garcon: Had a decent game for the Colts.
Donald Driver: Had a TD and some worthwhile points. Rodgers and that Packer offense gives you reason to start him.
Brandon Llyod: Had a surprising week 1 game for the Broncos.

I would go with Pierre Garcon. To start, I'd say he regularly has the biggest role on the team out of the four guys. Secondly, he had some key drops last week that he'll want to make amends for.

Driver isn't a bad play against Buffalo but the Bills secondary is somewhat underrated. It should matter as the Pack moves the ball up and down the field, but it's worth noting that the Bills do have a good group of defensive backs. The Packers will probably attack quite a bit on the ground even without Ryan Grant as the Bills run defense is brutal.

Percy Harvin is a slot guy, in my opinion. I see the Vikings having a big game against the Dolphins this week but Harvin is a tough guy to handicap. I'd say he'll be good for four or five catches, roughly 50 yards and he'll have a shot at a touchdown - whether he connects or not is a toss up.

Brandon Llloyd is good for one surprise game (or catch) per year, so I'd stay away.

Would you still start Garcon even though I'm facing a team with Reggie Wayne this week? Thanks for the advice. Any other input is appreciated.

Pierre Garcon and Donald Driver are the "no-brainer" plays in week 2. Manning and Garcon have a good repoire and Garcon is the #2 WR on this team. He should go for 6 catches 85 yards and a 1TD against the Giants.

Packers offense is the best in the NFL....they will kill Buffalo. Anyone one Green Bay offense starting is a MUST PLAY in week 2.

Let me ask you this... If you had to choose between starting Percy or Mike Thomas for week 2 who would u pick? Other options are Mark Clayton and Mike Williams (TB).

Christ - Mike Thomas. I loved the guy at Arizona, to be honest but he can't even beat out the kid from Rice to start in Jacksonville.

You're in a bind - obviously you're either in a super deep league or you just spent your first few rounds drafting quarterbacks and running backs.

Jacksonville is what I call a Fantasy wild card. Case and point: Marcedes Lewis last week. Mike Thomas could get you points but it's unpredictable - hard to handicap, in other words. Percy Harvin is a tough call - you never know with slot guys. Dolphins have a decent run defense and decent outside corners, so if I was game planning I'd say Percy has a big advantage over whoever is covering him in the middle. Still, I stick by what I said, which is four or five catches, 50 yards or so and a good shot at a touchdown.

Mark Clayton is an interesting story. I picked him up as soon as he was traded. Bradford is ahead of where you would expect a rookie quarterback to be in his first start and with a decent offensive line and a good running game, Clayton could have the breakout year we've all been waiting for. On the road in Oakland, I think they get worked over so I wouldn't start him.

Mike Williams is intriguing. Very, very underrated kid out of Syracuse. So underrated that I'd say if he played at, say, Miami, he might be a Top 10 pick in the NFL draft. Off-field problems, played in a horrible offense at Syracuse but he can flat-out play. Good rapport with Josh Freeman too. Carolina is perfectly tailored to spank Tampa Bay, though, and it won't be a high-scoring game, so I don't know that he's a great option.

To be honest, we're splitting hairs here. And we're talking Dr. Phil hairs because you're wide receivers are like borderline No. 3's. But I'd go with Harvin. Of the four, only player at home with extra rest. He's also the player playing with the best quarterback of the four. That's my opinion.

In a PPR league Mark Clayton could be the man but you figure the Raiders will out Ashmoghau their top CB on him in week 2.....so go with Mike Williams of TB. He is their #1 WR.

Yeah id definitely go with Garcon and Driver ... Indy/NYG should be a passing game and I see Garcon getting much more involved then last week and GB should have a lot of balls and points to go around at Buffalo this week.

Driver and Garcon... One is in GB offense (nuff said) and the other is Manning's go to guy beside Wayne.

Harvin... Min's O is not clicking w/o Rice and Harvin's missing reps in Preseason and not on same page with Farve.
Lloyd... 3rd WR in a not pass happy Offense, still behind Royal and Gaffney.

None of you are high on Harvin I see. My only question is it because of his health issues, Favre is rusty or is it something else?

Many reports have Harvin stepping up in the offense this week.
