no because after a series is over, i am carrying over any remaining numbers to the next series.

each team will start a series with two numbers 5-5
5=1/2 unit
10=1 unit

if A bet wins, the line is cleared: x-x. if A bet lost, you have 5-5-10

if B bet wins, you have x-5-x. the remaining five will get added to the next line of (5-5) for a total of 15. you divide by two and get 7.5. so you just round off to get 8-8 for your next series. now if B bet lost, you just have
5-5-10-15.

if C bet wins, you have x-5-10-x. this time you add the remainder to the next two series of (5-5) for a total of 35. divide by four and get (9-9) for the next two series.

if C bet lost, you have 5-5-10-15-20. you would do the same thing, but divide by four this time. this keeps the starting A bets from being too large.

now in the NHL, depending on the odds, you might not have to carry over after winning on the B or C bet.

it's a little more complicated than the 2-line labby. but i feel it's better for your bank.
