Giants/Colts OVER...

Last week both teams went over 48... The Giants outdoors vs a simplistic and predictable Carolina O, the Colts vs a Houston defense that fought hard. Both teams have QB's that will throw intermediate/deeper passes, and both teams had Piss Poor WR play. The Giants must have had 6 dropped balls, 3 of them went off RB's and WR's hands for picks, and the Colts had 3 dropped balls on 3rd down, a dropped TD, and Anthony Gonzalez had a heel out of bounds that cost the Colts.

In General the Giants are a PLAY at home, and an OVER on the road because Eli Manning isn't so shell shocked on the road and the Giants can score but the D is weaker when not pumped up by that big NY crowd. The Giants defense did bad vs Matt Moore in predictable passing downs, 2 min drill at the end of the 1st half, and later in the game when protecting a lead.

The X factor is that the Giants special teams were BAD and the Colts will get shorter fields. The Giants punter did TERRIBLE, the Kick offs were POOR... and the Giants lost their special teams ace Chase Blackburn. After he got injured Carolina took their first kickoff to the 50, their second one to the 35... Peyton Manning with good field position means points.

So in short...
Poor WR play will be better
Giants O on the road can keep up with points...
Shoot out potential, indoors on SNF
Giants secondary still had holes even vs Matt Moore
Giants special teams should give Colts good Field Position

IF the 1st half is low scoring, I will POUND the 2nd half over, as both the Giants and Colts are 2nd half offenses, but I'd hate to miss any action on the game. I do know the Colts will win, and the Over should hit, and if it's at 24 or less at the end of the 1st half, I want to pound the second half over and am ready to do so....

Patriots
The Patriots are a year removed from Brady's injury and he will be better this year, the defense scored last week and they dusted off an overrated Bengals team. I played the Pats last week and FADED the Jets and I am happy to do it again. The Jets are overrated.

The Jets were a 7-7 team that won 2 games at the end of the year against opponents that laid down... They got hot in the playoffs by beating an overrated bungles team, and then having a nice win vs SD.

Sanchez is not very good, he looked like he'd have trouble in 7 on 7 drills with no pass rush never mind vs an NFL defense.

The Jets barley made the playoffs last year but are over hyped for
1. Winning 2 playoff games
2. A mouthy head coach
3. The New York market
4. Signing free agents
5. Having a TV show

The Jets also
1. Were 7-7 last year in regular season games vs opponents who cared
2. Have an inept QB
3. Lost their starting pro bowl NT
4. Are on a short week.

The Jets will lose again, it wouldn't shock me if they lost by 1, but I'm am very confident Bellicheat beats them and returns the favor...

Ravens
Again, the Ravens are a legit team, the Bengals are an overrated over hyped team.

I took the Ravens/Pats lats week, and faded the Jets/Bungles last week and am happy to do it again. The Ravens running game will be better vs the Bengals, Flacco hit 3rd down throws... Palmer has a receiving corp of clowns...

The Bengals won all their divisional games last year, but they won't this year, they would be lucky to make the playoffs this year... and I think this is the year Marvin Lewis gets fired.

C-Gold I agree with pretty much all of your points pertaining to these two teams and I really hope Brady socks it to Rex 'Pillsbury Doughboy' Ryan and his Jets.

Thanks, it should be another good week. I'm still thinking about the Titans and the Rams/Raiders Under as well but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Carolina is underrated as a team, and Tampa won't win many more games this year.. Their QB is inconsistant, their coach is awful, and they got run over by Carolina's rush offense last year...

The O 48 tonight scares me. I know the public is all over this one yet the line has stayed at 48 -110. I have the spread at BetUs at -4.5 so I might just wait for a 2nd half play.

I doubled down on the Giants Over, so it was really one 5.5 unit play to save my ass!
That puts me at week 2: 3-7... -1.75 units...
