I signed up just so I could post here for you, was 100% behind you today and have been the whole season, basically have come on sbr just to read your plays each week (havnt been betting the whole time just interested)

have started playing these last few weeks and I'm down to my last 20$ (terribly poor college student in australia). I do have money, have just set aside some money every few weeks for this.

Hoping for a big play for MNF, unfortunatly I missed the whole Patriots play!

Any tips for playing with such small units in my situation?

Even if you can't put $500 in, at least $100 is necessary I would say. Might not be able to play the parlays and such for the $ Smack says, but you can use units to figure out what you should play with and build your BR. I have nearly quintupled my money since starting with Smack two weeks ago (started with $70).

usually 1% bro...so for a $2500 bankroll = $25 units...but it is actually up to you... I was $3000 in debt, with $1000 left and started with $50 units...now I am up in exactly a week...all due to Smack...but, the catch is you have to follow units played EXACTLY how he does... then you will be good to go... at least that is what worked for me...BOL fellas

If a unit is 1% weneva there is a 100unit play or combination of plays you are basically throwing your entire bankroll in....? Is that the principle we are working with :S cant wait for your MNF play.

i doubt 10$ units will do it for you, i.e if smack has a 20 unit play u wont even have the funds to play that much LOL. Today smack had a 100 unit (combined) play on a game. so if u had 100as your BR your unit would be a measely dollar. This assuming that smack doesnt play over 100 units on a game :S. Hope i shed some light for you.
Personally i would play half of wat smack usually does if you socially do not have the income. i.e if he has a 30 unit bet, play it for 15 units ...if he has a 5 unit bet play it for 2.5 units and play all parlays for 1 unit. At the end of the day all it means is you're only wining half of what smack is winning but its something you have to deal with due to the depth of your BR. Money is still money right? Hope i didint confuse you more.

Damn Brother. This will be a two week process to get you out. When I post units......For RIGHT NOW......I need to to split them in half......I.E.......If I say 10 units then for right now you go $50 x 10. With your losses, this is going to take us about two weeks to get out. Once we hit a few big ones......we can raise your level.

For right now that 1k is ******* GOLD brother..........we need to grow it to 3-4K by the end of Sunday night next week and go from there.

Really depends on your BR.

If you have 1k.....then your unit could be $50....or $100.

I never go above $100 for a unit no matter how much I have and I go larger UNITS on the right games but never over $100 per.

As you win and collect from Vinnie or the Book......you have a larger roll to lay a $100 per unit. We collected BIG last week so I had the confidence to go HUGE on the Denver game and the Pat's game.

Just depends on how we are rolling and how much you can grow it by staying diciplined.

We have never had a losing week here on this thread so if you manage by the UNITS I give vs. picking and choosing the GAMES you think should be played......you always get paid.

I always tell people if you have $100 then you need to go big on one game.....If you lose then reload......try to get it to $200 and so on.

Once your at $500-$1,000 then you raise them to what your comfortable with......Usually $50.

Then from $2,000 on it should be $100 a unit.

Money Management not picking and choosing the games you "know" are going to win.

That never works out.

To those who are starting with small money:

If you are under $100, use $1 or $2 as your unit size. Yes, it's small, but you will make money with Smack and then as your BR grows you can grow it larger.

I lost one of my best friends to a gambling debt. I know the fear and the destruction this shit causes first hand from that situation. First I got pissed......then I got good at capping NFL games to help you avoid the wrath and bullshit Vinnie causes you and your family. I know people are always going to bet.....but If I can get you to UNDERSTAND MONEY MANAGEMENT......you don't lose 9k.

That's what Vinnie wants......he want's you to bet on a billion games every weekend. We don't do that here. We hit our spots and we win.

And my 2 cents - number one rule is to establish a unit from your bankroll.
Typically:
1unit = (Bank Roll * .01)

Some use .02 .... but regardless thats typically a unit. Others go nuts and just make it their entire bankroll hoping to double it on a single play. Risky but sometimes pays off. Like Smack said its a marathon not a sprint.
